Loved, loved, loved this one. My new favourite. Seeing Savage being killed three times over by Kendra, Sara, Mick and Rip was bloody glorious. A deserved exit for an annoying villain.
Not disappointed that Kendra/Carter decided to leave but I think we'll see them next season in some capacity along with Snart. The appearance of Hourman at the end was nice. Love what that's setting up next season as well. Sara's reaction to Laurel's death was heartbreaking. Mick getting to see Snart once again also the same too. Great moments with Ray and Jax/Stein in this episode too. I also liked Clarissa encouraging her husband to travel again too. 8/10 I've only just got round to watching it and I bloody shouted out loud when Hourman arrived and announced the Justice Society of America, okay it's ot the Justice League just yet but it's a huge comic book moment ![]() I've thoroughly enjoyed every bit of Legends of Tomorrow, it reminds me of watching original Battlestar Galactica, Space 1999 and all the other shows in my younger days when the stories didn't make sense but they were just bloody goo d fun and 45 minutes of entertainment. I couldn't care less if the time travel aspect is all timey wimey, they can explain it or not explain it any way they want. I'm not so sure it's the end of the Hawks, I can't see all the references to the Thanagarians if they're not going to be turning up at some point in Season Two. I won't be sad to see the back of Vandal Savage though, I feel for Caspar Crump but he just didn't work for me as the villain at all, not until right towards the very end of the show's run. Overall though there's been some truly outstanding moments and some really good relationships develop, my MVPs are Sara and Snart/Rory though who really brought their A games. Also loved the Sgt Rock Easter egg with the helmet they found Kendra's message in. |

I finally got around to watching the pilot a few nights ago (don't ask
) and to say I didn't quite take to it is a bit of an understatement ..It's like a parody of Doctor Who crossed with Star Trek and something else. It really didn't work for me. I'm going to give it a few episodes though as it's in the Arrow/Flash universe, and I like Caity Loitz but I can't see me carrying on if it doesn't click. |

To be honest, the only relationships (or characters) I couldn't take a liking for were Rip, and the two Hawks. Everyone else was great, Snart & Sara, Rory & Ray, Stein & Jeff. The Hawks were just dull, and I don't know what it was about Rip, but I just didn't feel for him or anything.

I tried again with this last night but I just can't get on with it. It's just too silly for me and too much like a glorified parody of Doctor Who. I can't really wrap my head around going from the Arrow and Flash universes with the metas and magic to full on time travel in a spaceship.
So I'm out. |

Vixen will be joining the cast as a series regular in Season 2.
However, it won't be Megalyn Echikunwoke playing her as she is unavailable. It will be an earlier version of the character instead. Megalyn will continue with the animated series, though. Link. |

^at least they're not recasting her, rather picking up a previous incarnation of Vixen.

That's one seat filled then. I wonder who the two remaining seats will go too...

Superman & Batman? ![]() ![]() With the introduction of the JSA maybe a couple from there will join the Waverider crew? Hourman has already shown up and I suppose we can rule out Black Canary & Mister Terrific and Wildcat, but Robin was a Silver Age member of the JSA so that could be possible. Or maybe we'll get Starman, Sandman, Johnny Thunder or Doctor Fate? Plenty of others they could go with. Wasn't Spectre in the TV version of Constantine? He would be cool. Even better would be Green Lantern but I doubt they'll go there. |

There's been no reference to anyone with a green animated costume, nor a tribe of amazonian women, so for the moment at least, they're not showing up. If Superman is going to be in Supergirl though, I am really hoping that they'll have an actual Batman appearance in Arrow before long. |

If you recall there was a fleeting reference to Hal Jordan on Earth 2 Barry's phone. He had him on speed dial along with Bruce and Diana.
Why else would a random forensic scientist have the names of select superheroes (and only superheroes) on speed dial? The references to Bruce Wayne and Aquaman (or at least Atlantis) have much more depth.

Some casting news:
Maisie Richardson-Sellers has been cast as the show's incarnation of Vixen playing the granddaughter of the Arrowverse one we've already seen. http://comicbook.com/2016/06/23/mais...rows-new-vixen |

Can't be both unless they are going really timey wimey on us.

The article actually says two different things.
One that the new Vixen is the granddaughter of the one already seen in the Arrowverse but also that the Vixen already seen is the granddaughter of the new one. Can't be both unless they are going really timey wimey on us. ![]() ![]() Actually it doesn't contradict itself, it's just badly worded or they've edited it subsequently to make more sense: Quote:
The new Vixen has been found, and actress Maisie Richardson-Sellers has landed the role. Of course, the word "new" is relative, as this version of Vixen, Amaya Jiwe, is actually the grandaughter of the Vixen we've already seen, Mari McCabe (played by Megalyn Echikunwoke) on Arrow and her own series of animated shorts on The CW Seed.

...so, for clarification, the new Legends Vixen is someone they pick up from the future?

I suspect it's a typo or she's playing two different versions of Vixen as they travel through time
![]() Actually it doesn't contradict itself, it's just badly worded or they've edited it subsequently to make more sense: Quote:
"Amaya Jiwe – better known as Vixen – is the newest superhero to board the Waverider and join the ranks of the Legends of Tomorrow," says The CW and WBTV's official character description. "Like her granddaughter, Mari McCabe, Amaya’s powers are derived from the mysterious Tantu Totem, which allows her to magically access the abilities of animals."
First paragraph says the new Vixen is the Granddaughter, second paragraph says it's the Vixen we've already seen who is the granddaughter.

The 2nd paragraph is what contradicts the bit you quoted.
