I loved it when Brendan bought the deli for Ste. Sure, he was being manipulative, but it was still obvious how much he really loved Ste. I just want Danny to be happy.

Unfortunately, I also think Ryan and Jake will only grow closer as friends. I'm okay with Simon/Jake, but I prefer Ryan/Jake because I love their banter and their chemistry.
Yeah, I think there were a lot of underrated moments from around that time. It's funny how most of us were annoyed with the quality of the writing back then, but it's absolutely brilliant compared to what we're getting now.
