I'm just glad he is.

Perhaps they're German and unaware of his work? Although I don't know why they're not mesmerised even if they don't know who he is.
I love the shape of his body. He is so beautiful. And also a big dork which is even more awesome

Good afternoon.

Update on the Embo lookalike played by Milo Ventimiglia in This Is Us: I'm watching episode four now from last week, and swimming pool scenes tell me that he doesn't have a lookalike chest. Also he seems to be a bit shorter than Embo. He's still nice though, and I like the show.

Afternoon R Sarah

I didn't like his new look at first because I was so used to seeing him with shorter hair and a smooth face, but I've warmed to it now

I had the opposite experience as I hadn't seen him before. So I first saw him with his lovely beard, and was saddened when he subsequently lost it.

We're very lucky that Embo is always beardy unless a role demands that he isn't.

I don't know why I didn't immediately take to it, as my love of beards is so strong

Ooh yes, I'd be bereft if he shaved it all off. I'm guessing Claire loves it too (she has excellent taste.)

When I saw Claire's Instagram pic with her and Embo in fancy dress I thought at first it was the same one he'd posted. But then I noticed this one features his tummy.

The tummy makes all the difference

Not well R Ayla, not well at all But like I said on twitter, I've pretty much rejected everything that's happened since BK became the EP. So while it still hurts, I'm just going to pretend that she's still alive and still Ste's best friend.

I don't like BK's version of her anyway. I wonder if ASD was on board with the decision, say goodbye to HO for good.

Same. I don't like BK's version of anyone

Maybe she wanted something to fund her degree. I do wish all actors would be protective of their characters, but sadly a lot of them probably just want to pay their bills (which is understandable, but still.)

At least it sounds like there's going to be a lot of aftermath to it. I'm surprised they didn't just let it play out on screen without spoiling it.

I never quite believe them when they say that. Every time they have a big death and stunt they say that it'll change the villager's lives forever, and a couple of weeks later they're all back to normal

I'm not sure why they're not going for the shock element either. Maybe it's just to desperately claw back viewers.

That's true. In reality Ste wouldn't cope though.

Makes you wonder why they bothered bringing in the guy from Blue as well.

He wouldn't at all

Perhaps they'll keep him on. Someone in the main soap forum said that Ste will hug him gay and they'll raise the kids together, which is worryingly like something they would do

It's just so Hollyoaks-y though, isn't it? It's very easy to picture BK dreaming it up while licking his lips... *shudders*

That made me laugh

He is deluded though. Him and the storyliners, because they've definitely got to accept the blame too.

I've been to see a gay pantomime tonight in which Beau and the Beast got their happy ending, so I'm fine.

... and a bit drunk.

Could you imagine Emmett coming back in that kind of atmosphere?
