when I saw the comment from ontheradio I knew you'd be replying Darren!

seriously though I agree with you. I mean I always complain when I see that snooker is not on TV but I completely understand why other sports get chosen. Even repeats of some sports will even be ahead of snooker.

Also, I don't see the problem with EuroSport player? I get it on my iPad for just £2.99 a month. I get to watch snooker whenever it is on, regardless of whether its on TV or not. It never crashes, its very good quality and I can watch it in full screen (unlike most betting sites).

The only thing that could be improved is the fact that there is no commentary but I certainly wouldn't give it a bad review.

It's not £2.99 a month! I've downloaded the App and it's telling me 4.99?

[quote=Hayden;79707611]You'll be waiting until bedtime tonight if you want to see any coverage of the final, as supposedly it's Superbike Sunday. (insert 'yawn' smillie here- except they don't have one anymore).

Beat me like a bad boy Darren....[/QUOTE-]

You Pervy bugger

Yes why is it always poor coverage for the final!
What can they do ? Super bikes, certainly not my thing, are THE single most watched sport on Eurosport so they ain't moving that.

Do you have the Eurosport player? I'm considering getting it, but it was stated in an earlier post, it's £2.99 a month? Yet the App says £4.99 a month!

No I don't. I'd never use it to be honest

I thought it was £2.99 for laptop and £4.99 if you want it on other devices but don't quote me on that.

I can live without the snooker today. We have tennis, golf, football and rugby union.

I wouldn't be so bothered if it was just say a European Tour event but the Shanghai Masters is a 'major' major, long established at that, and moreover as a snooker fan I'm really keen to see how Kyren Wilson gets on in his first final. It is a shame for him that it's not getting wider exposure.

In the event I've managed to find a stream that works and at the interval its

I meant to ask, because I completely forgot to look, but was the 6 ball on last week ? I know they've shown it before

Kyren is our local pro here in Northampton and I have seen him playing here many times.

It is live on the Eurosport Player and I'm thinking of getting for future Eurosport coverage.

Wider exposure? Good point!

I'd say Trump probably isn't bothered about winning as he will know it's not live on TV! Not saying he's throw the match, but making less effort

That last comment is a bit silly. Of course Judd Trump wants to win and to suggest he doesn't is uncalled for. It is live on tv in China and he will get a hell of a lot more exposure there than here.

Just checked my bank statements. They definitely take £2.99 out of my bank each month (although different times of the month which is strange). Its £4.99 on desktop pc I think but £2.99 on iPad, not sure about iPhone.

In fact you can see here: https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/euro...339708430?mt=8

Have a look down the left hand side at 'In-App Purchases'. 1 renewal month - £2.99.

So why did it ask for £.4.49 when I downloaded the App??

Where will that win take Kyren in the rankings ? And who was the last player out of the 16 to win a major ? Was Michael White in the 16 when he won his ?

I don't think White was actually. His win got him up into the top 16.

However, He was probably seeded top 16 because a lot of players withdrew.

Sorry too early in the day lol I misread Darren's post - I meant winning the Indian Open tournament would have got him into the top 16, pretty sure he wasn't before

Also read that Wilson was the lowest ranked winner since Ding won the UK in 2005. Incidentally Ding beat Trump 9-2 in the first qualifying round that year - can't believe he's been a pro ten years!

Yes, great result for Kyren! No doubt his coach Barry Stark has been a good help! I've seen him play close up, in our local club and he really is a good player, who possesses a good technique!

Am I the only one who think Trump always seems to bottle it during these big finals? Admittedly he's playing a more measured game these days, but he should be winning more!

He's lost five of the nine ranking finals he's played in so not the greatest of records. I'm sure the pressure gets to him like it does anyone but I don't think he's a choker as such. Seems to me quite often in big matches he gets himself to the brink of defeat before his A game kicks in - we saw it in the UK final against ROS and the world semi against Bingham - and to a lesser degree on Sunday - gets to the point of being X down with Y to play then rattled off a string of big breaks.......then loses the decider 😛

Barry Stark...there's a name I've not heard in a while!

I've always said Trump is overrated! Yes, his game has improved, but he still plays more recovery shots to gain position that most players!

The hot shot new kid on the block has gone now
