BBC and their ever decreasing quality of service.

I remember only a few years back where you could watch on the red button all day long - uninterrupted. Now they are just constantly chopping and changing so to watch it all live you have to be switching back and forth all the time. They really need to go back to 2 red button channels. Thought at 1pm I could switch to BBC1 to continue watching live - No chance. Bet they're not live at the moment either (?), I've had to resort to watching online on my laptop which is not as good as on TV.

I just don't understand why they would rehash the frames on bbc2 that we've just watched on the red button. Really pitiful coverage.

Don't blame the BBC, blame the government who've told them to cut costs, hence less red button.

Oh come off it. How much does that cost compared with the bloated commentary budget?

I do. They've got to fill until the second match gets underway. If this game finished with 40 minutes to spare what do they show ? The earlier frames then ? No. Remember the coverage is also for those who don't/can't/didn't watch on red button

Too right

Highly unlikely is my guess

Two stellar frames from Marco, much more like it 👍🏻
I can't remember it happening in a semi final , although I'm guessing Taylor never led until the end in 1985 ?

I truly don't see what that has to do with it

Is there anyone who doesn't have access to the red button now since digital switchover? I could understand it in the days of analogue.

No idea. I've got Sky and they have obviously. This is a fact. A massively higher % will be watching BBC 1 at 1.00 than were the red button at 12.50. They are accommodating them

Yes, he levelled at 11-11 and 15-15 so I guess technically he may have been ahead if he then was leading in the 23rd or 31st frames which he lost, but to all intents and purposes he only led when he won the decide.

I reckon Phil Studd needed to go for a widdle - he's getting increasingly grumpy in the comms box lol

Looks like Ding v McManus isn't gonna be starting until 3 unless this ends before 2:45.

Not everyone is on benefits and can afford SKY you know.

My pisspoor Freeview reception doesn't give the Red Button option, I have to rely on BBC 1 and 2 for all coverage.
