Record 7th century in a worlds match for Ding puts him on the hill. Brilliant under this amount of pressure.

It is the point of no return now for angles but really so pleased he's gave it his best and not been battered as was probably expected

Gutting for Alan to lose the first frame because of that kick just when he needed a good start for the session. Ok, you could say he should have made more of his chance before, but still really unlucky.

Well done to ding. Full credit to Alan for a superb performance. If ding plays in the final like he started this semi then he'll win the final but it doesn't always work out like that.

Well played, Ding. Selby v Ding would be a great final.

Credit to Ding. Excellent performance by him to reach the World Final as a qualifier!
Also, great achievement for Alan McManus to reach the semi finals again at the age of 45, really enjoyed watching him! |

I'd quite like a ding v fu final. They have been the form players.

This is the terminal start of the beginning of the commencement of the end of UK Snooker as we know it. |

We need the stat muffin to step up to the plate, [ or saucer ] , would this be the first time no player from the British Isles in the World Snooker final ?
This is the terminal start of the beginning of the commencement of the end of UK Snooker as we know it. Can't say I agree with your second point though. ( or can't work it out at least ) The fact that only 3 overseas players are in the top 16 shows that the UK certainly still dominates.

I love seeing the stats of each player after each frame. I cant believe Marco Fu has played at the Crucible so many times, also Ding has been coming for the last ten years which is hard to believe

Looks like both Marco and ref missed the foul.

Wonder if it's possible Marco didn't feel his finger touch that red?

If the players want to be goody-goodies and declare all their fouls then that's up to them but so far as I'm concerned, it's up to the ref to spot them. If anyone is at fault for missing that one then it's him, not Fu.
