dings game has fallen apart today, he looks very weak mentally...
That's because whenever he misses mark punishes him severely.

So is this Ding crumbling under the pressure of a world final or is it his cue tip again?

Lots of empty seats.
They'll be the ones on sale for extortionate amounts on viagogo

Annoying isn't it. Wonder if they'd be empty if Ronnie was playing.

Damn sight more would be empty if it'd been Ding vs Fu.

No as I say World Snooker have a tie-in with viagogo who get a certain amount of the tickets but can sell them for extortionate amounts. It's not to do with who the finalists are. It's a real bone of contention with the snooker community.

No it's not. I'm sure He'll be completely different in the next session.

6-2 end of session. If Ding can win 5-4 tonight then 10-7 down overnight wouldn't be too bad - it was the overnight scoreline Selby came back from to beat O'Sullivan two years ago.

Have to say Mark Selby played very well today. He really produced the goods as the stats show.

I wonder if his second session form will continue like he has in previous matches where played pretty bad? I definitely think ding will be far better tonight.

Who is the bloke singing the Simon and Garfunkel song, Sound of Silence, at start of the snooker

Thought Selby had only won this once? If so how can he become a multiple winner.

....

Complaints on Points of View about the idiot Virgo's incessant use of his inane catchphrase.

Hendry's a good commentator I think and unlike the Irishman he can pronounce "h" as well!

Has Willie Thorne ever had any hair?!?!

Ding seems to be suffering some kind of implosion here.

BBC trying to big up how huge snooker is in China, not helped by shots of disinterested Chinese drinkers in a bar not watching the live final on the big TV.

Even McManus would have put up a better performance than this.

As Vic he say, very poor.

Yes it's not as big I suspect as they say I remember they did a feature about five years ago about how the top 16 would look in the future and they had loads of Chinese players in it.

What's the break down in frames per session is it 8,8,9 and 10

I think they chopped one off the last session in recent years

It is strange that Willie Thorne does talk as much when he is not commentating with either John Virgo or Dennis Taylor
