An hour of our life we will never get back. Has anyone ever got two snookers on a pink and black before. No.

Even with Ding winning the frame finally you have to wonder what damage Selby has just done to him.

And Dennis Taylor is cracking jokes whilst the player is taking a shot. FFS.

Beat a qualifier in the final?
Non-English qualifier? (As Higgins beat Selby as a qualifier too)
If Selby wins he will be only the 3rd player to win this, after Spencer and Robbo, to only play one seed the whole tournament. And like Robbo, Selbys was in the semi final

What was said on BBC commentary to make the crowd laugh whilst ding was on his shot?

That's why I don't watch bbc. No respect for the players.

They seriously need to crack down on:
1, Mobile phones,
2, Headphone commentary affecting play via audience laughing.

Loved Paul Collier shaking his head at Dennis in the comm box there giving him a rollicking

Clarky, he said something like 'hang on, he still only needs two snookers'

I like safety exchanges but this has been torturous!

I think all but one of Selby's matches have been against qualifiers.

So my guess is winning the title with only one seeded opponent.
Correct

Selby gifted that to Ding in the end. Awful play.

Just shut up Taylor.
Dennis likes the stream of consciousness approach to commentary i.e. he says whatever crap pops into his head.

Given that the commentators are there for the benefit of the TV audience, that should be achieved by withdrawing the earphones for sale - which they won't, because they probably make World Snooker a fair few quid.

Get in there Ding. Nerveless to sink the pink. He could still be 9-8 up after being 6-0 down.

And this is why the BBC will lose the rights. They are utter disgrace, if you can't watch the live game in the auditorium without needing to listen to the banal commentary of some old fools then you shouldn't be allowed to buy tickets. The governing body needs to stamp these headphones out.

The commentators of the past never used to talk a lot. I remember one match where i did not hear anyone talk for about twenty minutes. Well it was between Terry Griffiths and Cliff Thorburn, so there were probably asleep at the time

Well I loved that frame. It's great to see breaks but watching that quality tactical stuff (especially from Selby) is superb. I am wondering though if he ended up giving so much that it is like he made a big break so he will be down about losing the frame just as much as Ding would have been.
