Feels very much like Mark's semi final.. always just that little bit ahead and his opponent never gets their nose in front.

Selby's just throwing it away. Ding's playing very well but Selby's off the boil completely.
Well, he's back on the boil now!

Great break building from Selby

Brilliant 126 break from Selby there, and more importantly, he has won his 1st frame of the day.

Mark Selby is not all about grinding! Excellent century break in no time at all.

He is the 5th highest century break maker of all time and can grind the game out when needed. He is an all round player.

Selby needed that after the shaky start.

Today is the last day of the season so here is something to watch when this is all over. 3 great YouTube channels with lots of great vids from the 70s onwards

A great frame followed by a great cock up from Selby. He's nowhere near consistent enough today.

Ding seems to have cueball cleaned a lot.

A win one then lose one sequence will win him the title. That's all he needs to do and he's been doing that effectively in both the semi and in this final.

That's fine to an extent but he shouldn't be gifting frames to Ding.

Sensible from Ding in not getting distracted by the possibility of a max

Hopefully interval won't change anything and the standard will stay the same.

3-1 win for Ding out of the mini-session. Can't help but feel the first frame after the break is key now - for me, Selby needs to maintain the advantage; if Ding draws level there's only one winner.

85 centuries have been made now this year at the crucible. Just one behind last years record of 86.

Great stuff so far, this been a great tournament! So glad it's finishing on the high that it deserved.

BBC 2 year extension. Until 2019. Not that long an extension? Is that normal?
