Surprised Selby didn't play on for snookers there. At least it means we will be seeing the final frame of the session.

It's a big frame too. Big difference between 14-11 & 13-12.

Let's hope its not a lengthy frame otherwise it's not leaving much time for when they come back at 7.

If they complete 24 frames by the end of the session, that’s the number of frames that used to be scheduled in the days before the extra first evening session frame.

Here we go... Selby gifting Ding a chance again.

That middle pocket has been a nightmare for Selby

Ding needs a lot more practice with the rest, a real let off for Selby there.

Interesting Ding conceding there - he needed to try an win that frame, even at that disadvantage.

Very much agree with Martina Navratilova's tweet they read out. Selby is similar to Djokovic, both suit the moniker of "The Wall".

So for all Ding's efforts he's only one frame better off than his dodgy first session. Hard to see him winning the last session 7-3.

Ding needed that frame badly, cant see him winning the final session 7-3.

Not really. He needed one snooker. Cue ball went in off so two snookers and he left a red over the corner.

Neither player wanted the frame to go on five minutes longer than needed so it made sense to concede at that point and get as long a break as possible before tonight.

Selby is going to win this, just hope Ding can make it a close end

True; I did think the time allowance may have played a part but, at the end of the day, he would have been sitting down watching Selby do the work, hoping to pressure him into a mistake resulting in safety play - like both he and Selby did to each other last night. But, as you say, that was the evening session whereas this is the afternoon session.

Barry Hearn has announced that the World Championship will stay in Sheffield for a further 10 years!

Great news, lets create many more memories

Can't see the world championship anywhere else. So glad it's staying home

Great news about the 11 year extension. 50 years at the Crucible.

Quite clever timing with the announcement because it was stop the press saying it's going overseas if ding wins

Fantastic news, and if there was any doubt, having Hearn in control negates it imo. The Crucible and indeed the BBC are inextricably linked in the rise of the modern game and I for one hope that both continue to be involved for as long as possible.

Nine frames left and Ding has to win seven of them to claim the Championship.

Could be a hell of night for Selby if he keeps this up and Spurs lose!
