91% pot success rate after 26 frames. Wow. Excellent, especially seeing as potting isn’t his strength.................apparently

That's the second time the cue ball's kicked this frame - reckon it needs polishing!

Meh fortune's favoured both of them. If it wasn't for a horrible kick last night Selby would have been 7-0 up rather than 6-1.

I know, 91% success rate, 15 frames, world number 1. All down to luck, no skill whatsoever.

Give it a rest will you

He has been very very lucky in this frame though. Hideous shots and he's got away with them.

All the shaky shots he's been playing then Selby pulls something out like that!

Looks like this match will be finished by the time Leicester City win the title

Kyren Wilson must be keeping his fingers crossed at the moment with his high break of 143 still in the lead for £10k

And, as I pointed out, in the seventh frame of the match Selby was on for 7-0 until the horrendous kick resulted in it coming 6-1 so fortune sways both ways in general.

Ding needs seven frames from the last eight to win the Championship.

Selby was 6-0 up; he now has a five frame advantage.

Wow what a steal from Mark Selby. Ding will be kicking himself that he didn't win that one.

Just two away from his second world title now...

Ding was a bit fortunate with that safety shot; I'm sure he didn't mean to hit the brown but he hasn't left anything on.

Gotta feel sorry for Ding. The pressure inside his head must be huge knowing how many people back home in China are watching this final. Can't be good for any player to have that amount of pressure.
