Great win for Sam Baird over Trump to reach the semis in Sofia. Also means Ding is out of the Champion Of Champions as the last berth will go to today's winner (Baird, Allen, Williams or Day)

Mark Allen demolishes Mark Willams with a terrific performance. How had Ding qualified TC ? Through his ranking ?

And yes, Ronnie declined the invite so there will be a new winner as he is the only player to have won this event. |

It's on ITV4 all this week (both afternoon and evening sessions), so at least it's on proper telly.
Clive Everton confirmed on commentary too with Neal Foulds and Alan McManus, all good there. |

Not bothered Ronnie is not playing ball again. He isn't the best player anymore I for one won't miss him when he hangs up his petulant boots.

You might be interested that on BBC iPlayer at the moment (it's actually been there for ages, I just got round to watching it last night) there is an old episode of Big Break from 1998.
It features the late Paul Hunter. |

This 5th frame might take a while. Stuck in a serious safety battle
Which has ended and it's going to be well likely now Zhou's frame |

Unless we have some really quick frames there is going to be a over run

So both the underdogs prevail, it'll be Zhou v Kyren tonight. Looking forward to that one! Good to see a decent crowd in as well 😀

Whose idea was it to raise the frames to 11 for tonight? (6 to win) we could be looking at a serious over run

Reason it's been running a bit slow tonight, partly, is because there's been about 20 minutes of fruitless playing on for snookers.....one of my pet hates tbh |
