Such a shame itv4 isn't showing the home nation tournaments instead of the crappy quest channel which I'm assuming will be showing all of them with Eurosport.
Dave Hendon tweeted

Next week's English Open will be live on Eurosport and there will also be live coverage and highlights for Freeview viewers on Quest TV

Indeed. Doesn't get much better than that... arguably the four most talented players in the game right now.

Goes to show that even with the shorter format matches, the cream still rises to the top.

The standard has been high too. Longer matches from tomorrow isn't it ? Not best of 7

Yes best of 11 semi finals, then a two session best of 17 final on Sunday

Selby just not at the races today as his top run of just 37 illustrated - Trump in top gear far too good and emerged a comprehensive 6-2 winnner as he bids for major number six.

Ronnie O'Sullivan joins Judd in the final after beating Neil Robertson 6-0 in less than two hours!

Sets up an exciting final for tomorrow. Hope Judd Trump can play well and make it competitive.

I bet the likes of Ronnie, Judd, Robbo, Selby etc wish they could play as well as Mike Hallett did. Never played the wrong shot or got out of position in his "not so" illustrious career

You're not Mike Hallett's biggest fan then Darren?!

Close final so far, Ronnie leading 3-2 but Judd could have won all five frames.

Absolutely flying this final - four frame session in 3/4 of an hour. Trump unlucky not to win all 4 really, assuming that was a kick on the blue

400th career ton for Trump, & surely one of his best. What a remarkable blue.

400th career century for Judd Trump. The blue he potted on the way to making it has to be one of the best struck shots you could ever wish to see. Remarkable.

Brilliant final and well done to Judd. He played better of the two and came back from bad luck quite a few times too. He's definitely becoming more of an all-round player these days and his mental strength improving too.

Next weeks English Open is certainly one to look forward to, so many players playing well and match sharp.

They've added to the sport but I think in the future, when it's all settled down and historians can be rational, that they will agree that although there were decent sticks like Hendry, Davis and O'Sullivan, the great 20th century sportsman was really Mike Hallett and we were blessed to be alive at that time. Genius is an oft-overused word but sometimes it is the most applicable.

Am I laying it on a bit thick?

I think he is incredibly over critical

Didn't watch the euro masters but did watch final. Great win for Judd. Gonna try watch as much of English open as I can. I think these home nation tournaments are a fantastic idea. Bloody work getting in the way though so I don't get to see much snooker. Damn you work!!!😡

Eurosport are notoriously bad for showing all of the tournament up to the semis live but only highlights of the final in some of the tournaments they cover because they show live a crappy one sided WTA tennis final and cycling instead.

In other tournaments thty cover they start live to make way for other sports events, and when they come back live to the snooker the same match is practically all over. How is that good coverage?

Imagine if lots of other sports were talking place on a Sunday when snooker was on, and they had to keep everyone happy.
