This SF has been an absolute belter since the mid sesh. Six frames with breaks of 95, 83, 74, 134, 116 and 138 as we head into the decider. Oh and there were four half centuries in the opening mini session too.

I posted on Twitter after mid session interval that it wasn't the best of matches so far... Well it's certainly the opposite now! Incredible scoring from both players.

Brilliant win by Liang Wenbo. Definitely the best I've ever seen him play.

Great performance from Liang Wenbo. He's a character and he can certainly play too. Delighted for him.
Judd Trump the favourite for the final but the winning run has to end some time! Would love to see Liang break his duck too. |

Not sure how Judd managed to get out of the first mini-session 2-2 but definitely a bit of a result for him.

5-3 to Liang after the first session. Great snooker from him (that double on the respotted black to go to 5-2 was fantastic)

Judd's highest break this afternoon was just 54... Well he's just improved on that with a 132 total clearance. This is going to be good!

Break ends at 84. Liang leads by two frames again at 6-4. Lots of one visit frames tonight by the looks of it. Could go all the way.

Great stat by Neal Foulds earlier. He said "If you ask somebody to name the first Chinese player ever to make the quarters at the Crucible they will all say Ding but its Liang." He has been that good for so long but never crossed the finishing line in a ranking event. Not many would begrudge him this surely.

Indeed, he looks like a man on a mission tonight. Some of his breakmaking this weekend has been prime Hendry quality it's been that good.

Delighted for Liang Wenbo, thoroughly deserved! His celebrations were very entertaining... If somewhat premature!

Superb week on Eurosport, loved it. Great coverage with a couple of exceptions. Goldstein has been too sycophantic for my liking, preferred Matt Smith at the start of the week. Plus, as I have mentioned already, Mike Hallett does my head in with his very negative tone. The rest of the team are excellent and really like Ronnie as a pundit, he seems to enjoy it too.
Well done Liang, up to 12 in the world I think. Absolutely loved his celebration |

Hallett worse than Virgo at times.
A fantastic win for Wenbo. Fully deserved win. I'm glad he didn't miss after his premature celebrations. |
