^ which is obviously the cue for the last frame to drag on longer than it needed to when I'm ready for me scratcher! Kyren through ultimately quite comfortably, 6-3.

Quite enjoyed tonight's snooker.

And it finished in time for Family Guy.

It's always been best of 11 in the evening in the CofC.....to give it a one table Masters feel I guess......

Reason it's been running a bit slow tonight, partly, is because there's been about 20 minutes of fruitless playing on for snookers.....one of my pet hates tbh
Didn't realise when I posted that there only one game at night..........thankfully!

John Higgins through to tonight's last eight I mean group final then, defeating the Captain 4-2. Ali's two frames were both won with a century, reinforcing that most blindingly obvious of statements, a century only wins you one frame.

Missed this afternoon's action as it was my older bro's birthday.

How inconsiderate of him to have a birthday when the snooker is on

You're not missing much at the moment. This is like pulling teeth.

Must be a good player, he won the 2015 IBSF World Championship (not the under 21 event, the main one!). That earned him a tour place but was unable to take it because he's too young!

If he is capable to beat Shaun Murphy he should be on tour, regardless of age!

If you had a 15 year old child would you want them travelling the world alone ? That may be the real reason. He is still a child not an adult in terms of flights, hotels etc

Yeah possibly. He could have just played in the Asian events though, although that would be mean flying to England to play one qualifier.

I think though that you are not allowed to turn professional until you are 16 anyway. So whether he wanted to turn pro or not he couldn't.

Not been the most exciting match tonight. I planned to mainly watch snooker occasionally looking at the darts score but it's ended up the other way around!

Half of China B's winning World Cup team 👍🏻

Been a bit of a stinker this match tbh but a good pink by Yan has just reduced his deficit to 2-4

Had a feeling this match would be a long one.

If Yan puts a fight back on, I wouldn't expect going to bed this side of midnight.

As an aside, the two lasses in the front row, one has red hair. They're both mates of mine

Yan has a bright future ahead of him. Knocking out Shaun Murphy then picking up three frames against Robbo. We'll be seeing more of him.

Scary to think anyone can be playing at that level on tv when they are only 15. He's the oldest looking 15 y/o i've ever seen right enough.

I'm playing against Earl Strickland on Sunday (at pool), hopefully he's in a good mood.
