Clinical close out of 81 by Robbo to prevail in a hard fought semi, 6-4.

Nice to watch snooker without the camera seeking out family members every 5 mins or a certain someone mentioning them. Itv have a great team although I'm not entirely convinced by Jill as presenter but I can live with it.

Hey that's pretty awesome pal. Let us know how you fare 👍🏻
It's only 1 frame as part of his exhibition. It's later on tonight and I am slightly nervous already. Can see a beer being opened soon.

So itv4 now has 3 tournaments? Are the players championship and the grand Prix new?

Excellent timing by Robbie to win just before 10 saving me having to record it. Well done to him though. Standard did plummet towards the end mind.

No although the Grand Prix was revived in a new format last year. Trump beat Ronnie in the final

He'd hardly been invincible since the turn of the year anyway, however I think Robbo is overdue a major so I'll go for him

18 matches were played against Earl tonight and were first to 2. I was one of the only two to beat him. He was an excellent showman and put on a great show with plenty of great finishes, trick shots and chat with everyone.

I've been lucky enough to have met and played many of snooker and pool's greats and tonight with Earl is right up there as one of the best so far. He was absolutely nothing like the cartoon villain that weve seen so often on tv. It felt like seeing the real Earl rather than the one we see in front of the cameras so often.

Far from convincing in frame 4 but he made it 3-1 and has just made it 3-2 with an 85 break. Still work to do but looks a lot better.

Great to see Ken Doherty rediscover some old form today. Beat Tony Drago 6-0 including two century breaks and an 84!

Goodness knows! Must be between the ears though, it's not as if his technique has suddenly gone to pot or something. After all, he did win an Asian Tour Event recently. Apparently his post match presser lasted last than a minute and was peppered with expletives.

Bit surprised to see Michael White defeated by Sydney Wilson too, puts his Masters spot in jeopardy.

I wonder if there is a video of this. I can't imagine Ding swearing like that. He's always so placid.

He got one thing right though ....

"I don't want to say any more about this. It's just crap. It's for amateurs."
It was certainly for amateurs today. Well done Adam Duffy

^ Haha, good one JC. I think Ding has got a bit of previous for swearing at a press conference actually, vaguely recall he got a mandatory fine a couple of years back. Don't think he was effing and jeffing that time mind lol

I never knew he had previous TC.

I know it's a serious matter, but I find the whole thing hilarious. Ding of all people!
