I know it's a serious matter, but I find the whole thing hilarious. Ding of all people!
Well at least it proves he has a personality - and possibly too much grasp of the english language for his own good!On a broader point, it's often funny to hear non native english speakers littering their conversations with english expletives. I used to work for a German company and it happened all the time in meetings! |

Have to feel for Jimmy White tonight. Took Stephen Maguire to a decider, 22-0 in front plays a safety. Maguire then goes for a long red, misses it by a long way but flukes it in the middle and lands perfect on the blue. He then went onto to make a break of 72 to effectively win the match!

Wasn't the first important fluke he had in the evening either. Immense effort by Jimmy tonight, really rolled back the years!

That's an interesting stat - eight frames played in the Higgins 6-2 Carter match and not one single foul. Must be pretty rare for a best of 11. Great effort by Ebdon to defeat the World Champ this afternoon considering he was playing until half one in the morning last night.

Close shave for Mark Selby winning 6-5 against Jamie Jones.
World Champion out too. |

Missed last black for a 147! Gutted for Un-Nooh
Played a brilliant last red in amongst the break too.

Such a shame. That black and red alone deserved a maximum. Gutted for him.

Especially as he's not one of the top players as such - you half expect a Ronnie or a Ding to turn up and pop a maxi at any given event. But for a lesser light like Un-Nooh to make one in such a big event as the UK....well that's still pretty special.

Possible eclipsing Ken Doherty for the worst attempt at a black when on 140.
Poor guy looked gutted.

Robbo's just beaten Un-Nooh's 140 with a 145 TC 😂

The only positive is that he's in a more exclusive club than he would've been if he'd made the maximum! No consolation though.
Brilliant 145 from Robertson in the following frame though. Last thing you want after missing the black for a max! |

Going on Thursday afternoon. We get to see Robbo v Maguire and Ford v Trump/Wenbo. Be nice if Judd gets this one, he will be worth the £6 ticket price alone

Not looking good for Trump now though, he's gone from 4-1 and looking like a world beater to 4-5 down and looking like a panel beater 😬
Wonder if the flu he's been suffering from has sapped his concentration as the game has worn on.... |

![]() Just seen his final red, that makes it all the worse. £44k would have paid a hell of a lot of expenses over the next year or two for him. Literally could have been a life changer. |

Maybe contrasting fortunes for the Thais with Poomjaneg having come back from 5 down against Joyce.

Comeback of the year as nutty old Jack comes back from 0-5 to win a decider. What an incident packed night of snooker!

Incredible comeback from Jack! Mark Joyce will be kicking himself.
Dechawat is a very underrated player IMO, everyone remembers his antics of course but he can play. |

Yep he's deceptive - looks like he doesn't know what he's doing but can be very effective. Think it was you Clarky who said he reminded you a bit of Suljovic at darts, and it's true, neither look 'good' but they are top quality.

Poomjaeng getting battered from the Jester. He's not really had a chance and made 1 or 2 mistakes. Another come back from 5-0 down going to be impossible at this rate
