Wenbo is 3-3 in head to heads with Selby and only 4-3 down to Robbo if that helps!

Strange game Snooker. Watching Wenbo today I'm struggling to believe he beat Judd Trump .. but he did. And he's in the semi as a result. Grace has had a rather easier run into the semis. But I think the format does allow more players a chance and I think it illustrates that the game is quite open now. It's quite an unpredictable sport when you think about it. One tournament a player is a finalist the next they don't reach the semis. Only Robertson and Selby seem certain to reach the last stages but even they go out early sometimes.
The only shame about this particular tournament is the final is going to be a walk over. Hendry just said it.. the other semi is the final now. There are many players playing very good or brilliantly but not consistently so. Davis will no doubt be very annoyed that Hendry said that. Mind you it won’t stop Davis tomorrow forecasting that it will be a great classic anyway. |

This match must surely be in contention for the WORST quality major tournament semi final EVER...Both have been an embarrassment to the sport and whoever out of Robertson or Selby gets to the final, then it will surely be their easiest ever Final win tomorrow.

You obviously didn't see Bob Chaperon v Robert Marshall in the 1990 British Open

It's always "Big and clever" to answer peoples serious questions with a childish answer and then also have the audacity to say "honest" too!! |

And what was the point of that when Matt asked you a genuine question? (and he took your answer as being genuine too!).

Wow - I don't think I've ever seen anyone as excited at winning a match as Liang Wenbo just now.

But gutted for Grace there, ultimately easy pinks in the first and last frames costing him dear.

Very hard to take for David Grace. He would probably have preferred to lose 6-1 with his opponent playing unstoppable snooker.
As for Wenbo, I don't care what people think, I love seeing passion in the game. It's great to see how much this means to some players, it makes them believable and is also quite funny

Puts him in the Masters too at White's expense, no wonder he was leaping about! But he is getting pelters for his handshake on Twitter I see. Didn't really note the handshake personally so can't really comment

Would anyone else like to see Doug Mountjoy's frilly shirts make a comeback?

Selby needs to repeat his 0-4 comeback from their 2012 UK QF encounter. Terry Camilleri was ref that day too.

Could this match go on for another few hours as each frame is lasting nearly half an hour
I imagine a few top players would be thinking the tournament had got the final it deserves had Grace won today. |
