You wouldn’t exactly call Tony Meo or Alain Robidoux outstanding though.
Everybody says it’s great in golf when you get different winner every week, yet when the same thing happens in snooker apparently it’s bad for the game which is ridiculous.
Many good players, a few very good players and 2 or 3 standout players at any one time up to the early middle part of the 1990’s. But today there is a far greater depth of very good players than say 25 years and way back to the back and beyond, even if there are fewer standout players today.
