Just reading the Dominic Dale v Judd Trump Twitter exchange. Dom didn't tag Judd so he's either searched or follows him. Dale commented about Ding controlling the cue ball better. Judd said Dale was clueless. Idiotic of Trump to go online during the interval. Could have cost him the match, certainly cost him the session. I thought he'd grown up a lot, this shows some immaturity still
No player should be using the internet during the interval.

If ding were ever to win the world the calls for moving it would grow stronger
From who ? The players aren't huge fans of playing in China and looking at the crowds of the China Open and Shanghai Masters, neither are the fans. Always empty and no atmosphere. If anything the argument is for less events in China. Remember too, before this event started there were no Chinese players in the top 16. Sheffield all the way for me.

completely agree.

Look at the International Championship for example. It was meant to be one of the biggest tournaments on the tour, the unofficial 4th major. Not exactly turned out that way has it.

Ronnie for me (as ever) is just after attention. Deep down, I honestly don't think he believes what he's saying.

Totally agree but that would be what would happen, the atmosphere is dire in China and the crowd can be quite unsporting at times.

The so called China explosion of players never really happened

Should never move from Sheffield but if it did money would talk and that's where it would move to.

However I do not think ding or any other Chinese player will win the worlds anytime soon

Who's money though ? It is currently sponsored by a bookmaker who gets advertising on the BBC morning, afternoon and evening for 17 days. Move it to China and its early morning and early afternoon, nobody would touch that, maybe not even the BBC. Barry isn't daft.

Allen will have to win the rest of the match 12-5 from here on in.

Has anybody ever won a best of 25 from 0-7 at the Crucible before?

Not sure Ronnie's up for it. Difficult to tell and probably wrong to judge him on just the match so far but sometimes you just get the feeling he's not feeling it.

Is the 'Cue I' answer David attenborough do you think? Presented Life On Earth & was controller of BBC2, bringing Pot Black to our screens?

That picture of David Attenborough makes him look like a very good contender for next celebrity death.

It is but who would be sad enough to tweet in in the faint hope that his beloved Hazel would read out his name on national telly

Both Ronnie and the hawk seem to be hitting top form. Could go either way this.

8-7. This could go all the way (has been pretty high standard)

Yeah both are playing very well. We've had some very good games despite the table conditions

How many times do the commentators think that 'knocked 3 times but knew the password' is amusing/clever when a pot wobbles before going in?

Fed up of hearing it - apart from anything else, it doesn't even make sense as a sentence anyway....if you knew the password, you wouldn't need to knock at all in the first place?
