Hahaha, from the comments on this page, I knew someone was being grumpy after Ronnie lost. I just KNEW it would be Gibman. Oh dear.

Best 50 break Marco will ever make! Have to say I want him to win - chiefly because he's just too nice a bloke for such a horrific collapso to happen to!

Is it me or are snooker audiences less well behaved than they used to be?

Followed it up with a break of 93 and now has a chance here to win the match!

Fu always seems to go about his business very quietly, spotlight never on him. Would be nice as you say TC if he did win the big one.

You could say that he doesn't even have the expectation of Asia on his shoulders as that's primarily on Ding.

Did you see Barry Hawkins looking up to the ceiling when Marco Fu missed the shot

Presumably watching on the TV monitors as he couldn't see the table...

I thought he might have wanted some divine intervention

Angles edges in front at a vital time.

Great story this would be.

Brilliant snooker from McManus! That was the only quarter final I didn't think would be close but it's probably going to be the closest!

Would it be a shock if Angles beats The Wizard of Wishaw

I mentioned earlier in the thread that if Ding should win this he would be the first player to win the worlds by winning 8 matches, of course the same goes for McManus

Hawkins has so much bottle.

What a match this is!

Thr Hawk survives another day, Now if Marco Fu loses this match it would be one of the greatest comebacks in snooker history

Marco must nearly be in shredsville after that - missed at least 4 golden opportunities to close the match out there

Come on Alan!

Fu so close to winning the match twice! First missed the brown then a bit later on the blue!

Meanwhile on the other table 45 year old McManus is going win to reach the semi finals!

Fantastic, never thought McManus would put out Mr Brown Envelopes...there is some justice after all!!

Oldest player to reach the semis since Ray Reardon in 1985
