Incredible performance from ding. Gonna be hard for alan to comeback if ding continues like that.

This is incredible, after all the years of him winning titles and climbing the rankings, he has underperformed at the worlds. He drops out the 16, has a shocker of a season and performs like this

Seems like Ding's on a mission. Wonderful performance so far.

Missed the second half of this afternoon, but it couldn't have taken long.

Couldn't watch it but wow! What an incredible session from Ding!

McManus did well to only be 6-2 behind judging by Ding's form!

Evening all is that correct if McManus gets to the final he is back in the top 16, then Kyren Wilson is out

Yep, see here mate:

Angles needs an extra 30-odd grand to make the top 16 and will receive more than double that if he makes the final as the runner-up gets £137,500 comapred to a Semi-final purse of £66,000

Great spirit this game is being played in. Two incredible snooker escapes then too. Great play.

Seems odd that your ranking is based on how much money you win over a certain period? I know prize money is tied to performances but still.

What an entertaining frame of snooker!

It really was something special wasn't it. So was Selby's the shot before. Two great escapes.

I agree. Enjoy the scrappy frames. If its all one or two visits to the table then the whole thing is over too quickly!

Looks like another one in progress...

Ding looks like the man to beat that was an awesome display this afternoon - Angles did very well just to win two frames.

The Jester and Marco were rather scrappy tonight.

What would it do for the game in China, if Ding wins the World Championship

More importantly what will it do for ding. The pressure of winning this will be lifted and I can see him pushing on and Winning a few more. Really he should have already done that with the ability he has.

Ding carries on where he left off with a total clearance in the first frame

And it's only 7:2 plenty of frames to add more.

Yes, could easily get 3 more but it may cost him if he misses like that and lets Alan Mc in to take the frame with another excellent break of 107

If he starts knocking them as well this might turn out to be best match ever.

I didn't really see much of the other semi but I assume it didn't have the quality this one has had?
