I want to see Katherine Kelly return as Becky for some jealousy between her and Michelle. Plus, Becky was always better alongside Roy than Carla, Tyrone or Fiz. The latters just seem like the writers are trying to recapture Becky/Roy's friendship and it seems forced IMO.

The show is in such a mess at the moment I am not sure if any decent actors would want to return.

No-one until there are serious changes made. After that hopefully they could get back Becky, Sylvia and Graeme.

Everyone is obsessed with saying it's terrible. Sure, it's not at it's best but I still find it a pleasure to watch.

I forgot the amazing Jez Quigley, but can't remember if he was killed or went to prison. Does anyone remember?

They need to sort out their current cast and then introduce new characters that will have some staying power.
Jim McDonald would be my exception. He would need to be on the street for at least a year instead of these guest stints where he appears on the street twice if we're lucky. I know he isn't everyone's cop of teas but Corrie needs a male villain that doesn't turn into a serial killer at the fly of a hat. Tony Stewart was better when he loved Liz McDonald and had fantastic scenes with Jason Grimshaw. |

Nobody. Soaps rely too much on bringing people back. There are lots of characters who barely get any screentime as it is.

Stephanie Cole who played Sylvia - she is such a good comedic actress and really fitted into the character. It was so abrupt the way she was written out. Maybe it was personal circumstances but she was an asset to the show. Bring her back, Corrie.

I know the two are not from your favourite era but both have become iconic to a degree in my opinion!! |
