I agree OP. We need to see more of Emily and Rita bickering with Norris and Sean and the Vicar humming and hawing over whether to have a relationship

Todd is the most decent, interesting addition to Corrie we've had in a seriously long time. They'd be mad to get rid.

I want to see either Todd written out or return to his original personality before Stuart Blackburn decided to turn him into a dick.

He's hilarious. In a laughing AT kind of way. Thinks he's witty... but isn't.

The Todd-thing always was. I have no idea whose brain blow-out it was to bring it back, but they need punishing, rather than them punishing us giving it screentime.

Todd never used to be nasty. He used to be a genuinley nice person who wanted the best for everyone. The writers have ruined the character now IMO.

Can't stand the guy. He's rude, sly, sarcastic and cruel. He has no respect for anyone, especially not his Mother.

Wasn't it because he thinks his family were responsible for him getting beat up and mugged?

I hated him to start with but am finding him unintentionally hilarious now - a bit like Tracyluv. Anybody who takes on the ridiculous creature that is Mary is alright by me.

I think I may have missed something though - is he pretending to be Eileen's Dubai flirtation?

If, around the time he was mugged he'd broken down &explained what happened in London to turn him from a nice guy into an irrationally objectionable ********, then there might just have been some way back for the character, but first pairing him with the odious Tracy then having him go on this ridiculous & incomprehensible campaign against his family, while pretending to be nice has made it so that for me they've taken him too far & I could no longer give a sh*t what happened to him to make him like he is, I just wish they'd kill him off or send him back where he came from!!

Yes, I'm pretty sure that's the case

I can't stand the character but the show would be less interesting without him and you're right, he s becoming a lot like Tracey in so much as he's very unlikeable but also compulsive viewing lol.

Yes, we did see him creating some messages from the Dubai guy on the dating site

Hopefully, Mary will accidentally run him over with the camper thus killing him off.

Todd is a Corrie hero putting the scrounger Mary in her place, setting Horrible Eileen up, making her think someone would actually fancy her 'roll eyes' and constantly interfering in Sean's relationships Give that man a medal.

I don't like Todd. I don't think he's meant to be liked. What's interesting now is that he has the potential to grow into a villain. We always get bad guys coming in to soaps but rarely do we see them become bad guys.

There are far more worse characters than Todd, at least the Actor can act.

He was always horrible. Creepy, with an underlying sense of sinister.
Walloping Sarah-Lou after Billy died (he said it was her fault) is not the mark of a 'genuinely nice person'.

She has two jobs doesn't she (babysitting for Dev and the odd cafe shift)

I'd totally get that if Todd hadn't always been nice when the character had been in the show before.

When did that happen?

Todd always seemed like a genuinely nice guy into Stuart Blackburn ruined his character IMO.

I love Todd - he's my favourite character at the moment. I like that evil little chuckle he does, and am really enjoying him being Jeff in Dubai and spoiling things for everyone I don't mind that his evilness hasn't been explained, though if it ever it is that would be good too. I agree with the poster who says he's played by a good actor - under all his villainy he comes across as quite unhappy. When he plonked himself on the sofa with the remote control he seemed really depressed and lonely.

I would rather see Jason killed off really - he's nice enough, but the character's become a bit stale and boring.
