I don't mind the dance acts so much. It's the singing acts that bore me to tears.

Love the dance acts. It's the singers who are boring. We've got The Voice and X Factor for that. Although having said that the singers on BGT have had a lot of success ie: Potts, Boyle and the opera singers (several)

Lucy O'Byrne was robbed on The Voice over a generic male singer.

Also now Got to Dance is done this is the only show for dancers now.

I also find dancing has a FAR greater scope to work from then singing.

Unless it was something really good I haven't seen before all the street dance acts would get a no from me just out of sheer boredom seeing average moves done by acts over and over

I didn't watch a lot of The Voice so can't comment on that . I usually love these sort of shows but find The Voice a bit off putting for some reason.

The dance program you mention I have not watched. Is it good? If so I might try to catch it next time.

I agree that there is so much scope to dancing. I am not a dancer but I love to watch it.

So true , and none of the street dance acts are much different from each other . My daughter goes to street dance type lessons and honestly anything you see on this show this year is hardly any better . Now I'm not bigging her up my point is what your seeing this year in bgt isn't a very high level at all , nothing I haven't seen in a load of dance classes a hundred times at 12 year old level at basic learning

Well I don't go to 'street classes' so I like to watch it and it is a joy for me . And at least they are being proactive by contacting and going on the programme not just whinging about acts from the sofa. We can all do that .

In one way I feel kind of sorry for the dance acts. Even if they come out and are fabulous…. after Diversity….nothing really compares, and I find them all mind numbingly boring and tedious.

Agreed. Worse they never seem to in sync at any time. Just a group of athletic youngsters having fun but entertaining and talented - no.

If these groups didn't push the smallest / cutest / youngest members to the front the "aren't they so cute" reaction would be gone and then only genuine talent would count.

To be fair, the dance group (Entity?) were all on point.
If you compare them to the group that were on the a couple of weeks ago (IMD) they were a complete mess and I thought they shouldn't have got through. Especially since they have been on Got to Dance already, IMD's routine should have been performed much cleaner.

I like the dance acts. At least they don't have another Syco show they could go on like the pop singers/boybands.

It's because alesha has this deluded thinking she knows all about dance and thinks that type of dancing is all that matters

Because they were of exceptional talent. And Lauren Platt's brother was in it.

Pfffff I'd never be good enough at dancing to enter a talent show hence why I don't go on there . If that's the full repertoire of their skills they should do likewise .
