This is in the UK.

1. Cher - Believe
2. Whitney Houston - I Will Always Love You
3. Britney Spears - ...Baby One More Time
4. Celine Dion - My Heart Will Go On
5. Adele - Someone Like You
6. Jennifer Rush - The Power of Love
7. Spice Girls - Wannabe
8. Celine Dion - Think Twice
9. Riahnna feat. Calvin Harris - We Found Love
10. All Saints - Never Ever
11. Carly Rae Jepsen - Call Me Maybe
12. Alexandra Burke - Hallelujah
13. Jessie J feat. B.O.B - Price Tag
14. Kylie Minogue - Can't Get You Out of My Head
15. Whigfield - Saturday Night
16. Natalie Imbruglia - Torn
17. Lady Gaga - Poker Face
18. Spice Girls - 2 Become 1
19. Rihanna - Only Girl (In the World)
20. Donna Summer - I Feel Love
21. Leona Lewis - Bleeding Love
22. Irene Cara - Fame
23. Gloria Gaynor - I Will Survive
24. Mariah Carey - All I Want for Christmas Is You
25 Cheryl Cole - Fight for This Love
26. Lady Gaga - Bad Romance
27. Atomic Kitten - Whole Again
28. Julie Covington - Don't Cry for Me Argentina
29. Adele - Rolling in the Deep
30. Rihanna - Diamonds
31. Katy Perry - Firework
32. Nicki Minaj - Starships
33. Spice Girls - Say You'll Be There
34. Lady Gaga - Just Dance
35. Christina Perri - Jar of Hearts
36. Elaine Paige and Barbara Dickson - I Know Him So Well
37. Leona Lewis - A Moment Like This
38. Adele - Make You Feel My Love
39. B*Witched - C'est la Vie
40. Katy Perry - Roar

Rihanna, Adele and The Spice Girls have three each. Very impressive. I didn't realise Think Twice by Celine Dion sold so many copies, it wasn't even a big hit in the US. Roar by Katy Perry has sold 1,020,000 copies which means Especially for You by Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan is just outside of the top 40.

Absolutely hammered by radio stations still, so that probably influences the buying public.

I agree, it's not a great song in my opinion. I always turn the radio station over if it's on.

I thought All Saints-Pure shores was one of the big sellers of the 00's, did it not make the top 50?

How much further down the list do you have to go to find the good ones?

The good ones aren't interested in the charts

Most of these song only made the list because of downloads. That's why songs like Pure Shores are not on the list

But then why has pure shores not sold enough downloads to appear? Not criticising love the song.

It sold around 700,000+ copies if I recall and buy and large I rarely hear it now meaning people won't be enticed to DL it to push sales up it's a shame as that along with Black Coffee I adore.
