I am also writing comments beneath videos from other countries. Leona did a duet with Helene Fischer, so I let all fans know that she has a knew song out.

Plus we have Graham Norton, all while the song is climbing the airplay charts, and ideally something else the impact week.

I actually quite like the idea of this now. ”

hold up hold up hold up

I quite like the sound of this too! So, right...
First week we will have Palladium?
Second week just hoping it keeps up position cause of palladium?
Third week that John Bishop thing?
Fourth week - radio peak?
That right?

I think it's a terrible decision for someone who needs to re-establish themselves to not have their peak radio spins on the week of release. Fair enough if she was 2008 level, great, fine, make the impact date 10 weeks after if they desire.

But, if the radio peak is genuinely going to be 3/4 weeks AFTER the release date the it pretty much removes all chances of a number when, because her radio peak will be near when Years and Years release, and longevity isn't even guaranteed - especially since her radio peak is likely to be far less than other songs.”

Okay, you understand but you don't think that's a good thing. I do, let's leave it at that cause I don't have time for this.

I just can't believe that it's barely one day after the premiere and people are already freaking out.

I just remembered I was at the pub yesterday talking to my friend and he thought Leona's last top ten single in the US was 'Halo'. I wish!

wow these last few pages have been a bit of a comedown.........how does anyone on here think they know more on how to market a single more than a world renown record label........... calm the hell down, so things arent happening the same way they used to with SYCO........to me thats a damn good thing. None of us know what the plan is or what they are doing but they do so just enjoy the ride and stop stressing!

Exactly. I mean its just rude and so out of character for him, he's always so OTT about it!

I am just glad we aren't Florence or Will Young fans as their first singles were On Air On Sale, which hasn't done those songs many favours.

To me its clear that Island want their singles out as soon as possible, rather than letting them have huge airplay for weeks, but not being available to buy.

By the way the Youtube views are really positive! Remember she hasn't been hugely relevant in years so she's not gonna be getting 2 million views in a day like Ed Sheeran who's selling masses all over the world right now.

It's outdoing OMS's first day and the peak it had towards Christmas, Trouble to. Collide's first day aswell, although Collide had a massive spike in views a few days later but her profile WW was double what is was now.

Looks like they've learned from the mistakes of those two singles - it's criminal they let What Kind Of Man flop. It was great!

Other than that, the quality is perfect for me!”

Collide did a million first day, didn't it? Pretty sure that's been mentioned a few times on here. So it's not doing better than Collie did - but I think Collide got a lot of views cause it sounded similar to the Aviccii song!

Trouble hahah, that poor video. So awful!

Is this happiness? No it isn't, its making people who worry enough about Leona's career worry more without any real knowledge as to what the future will bring lol

I thought Collide got a hell of a lot of views its first day, thank to the Vevo banner next to a new Rihanna video or something like that.

I think the fact that none of us have any real knowledge as to what will happen allows for that - discussion! Some people presume she's going to have a number 1 and sell 50 million, other's done :P

But indeed, this is definitely not happiness! haha!

She'll be on Radio 1xtra with Sarah-Jane Crawford tomorrow in her "Hottie of the Week' segment. It'll go on Youtube straight after aswell. I'm sure she'll tweet the times.

You can check stats on Youtube videos, it got around 200k. The VEVO banner came a day or two later and it did something like 800k. I remember it did 1 million views in like 4 days.

edit: Click more then statistics - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E4a8...Q&spfreload=10
