I don't know what the other three judges were sniffing.

Well done Alesha

No wonder he's kept his act in his bedroom. I choked on my dinner when he started rolling his layers.

What was he thinking?

He was ok, but just ok.
I personally would not have voted him through to another stage.

Wouldn't have put it quite like that OP but he really wasn't very good. Without the poor little innocent never left my hometown before spiel, he was just a chubby kid who danced badly

When we watched it one of my kids was with us, she is in her early 20s now.
All she kept on saying it that he was so going to get it when he goes back to school on Monday.

I don't think he was shite but I thought he was just average.

Think Alesha was right for buzzing him.

I thought it was atrocious and completely pointless.

They just felt sorry for him. He was very overweight, camp and ginger. I bet he gets bullied everyday at school.

Maybe he shouldn't be so camp and overweight then?

Seriously, there was zero entertainment value in that from my point of view.

I'm as camp as a row of tents and ginger, but I wouldn't go on BGT to do a ridiculous dance.

Well, I might if I was taking the piss, but he was actually serious.

I kinda felt sorry for him when he came on as he was nervous, but he was 16, not 9 and his act was just a very overweight fat kid jiggling and waving his arms I didnt find it entertaining.

I didn't think he was very good. I'm not sure what the talent was that appeared to impress the judges so much.
If an adult did that they'd either be considered a joke act like DJ John, or treated with contempt by the judges.

BGT is a talent show where you are given a standing ovation and round of applause for either being very young or very old. You are considered talented due to possessing the talent of being your age.

I know I am but a simple kind of guy, but, if he had really been spending so many hours as he claimed practising in his bedroom surely he would have lost several layers of puppy fat in the process.

Agreed, the act was different, but there was no talent and no entertainment value.

He was cringe. What was his mum doing letting him make a complete tit of himself for millions to see. Lol I would have been honest with my kid and told him to pack up being silly😂

I know what it reminded me of. It was just like George Sampson's dance act actually (waving his arms, jiggling about and then falling over).

George Samson was actually talented from what I remember.

Now you're just being facetious, George Sampson was a lot more talented than that.

LOL at the George Sampson comparisons. Not enough facepalms in the world...

It all looked very wrong to me when I was watching it. Obese ginger haired gay boy strutting his stuff and thinking he's Beyonce. Just...no!!! Some things in life should be left in the bedroom. This was one of those acts.

He's probably been bullied so many times he must've thought he had nothing to lose doing BGT.

All right maybe I was being silly, sorry I just thought the dancing style was similar.

I felt sorry for him and thought he was much younger than 16, I'd have guessed his age at around 12. No idea what his parents or the BGT producers are playing at encouraging him to believe he can have a showbiz career based on this "act".

Yeah, I thought he seemed quite a "young" 16 year old if that makes sense.

It was ridiculous. I mean yeah sure, give him credit for "having the balls" to do this on stage in front of god knows how many people, but to say that's talent is utterly ridiculous. You see tens of people like that in any given club after one too many on a Saturday.

I did a double take when he said 16, I expected him to be about 11 or 12.

Fed up of people getting put through because the judges feel sorry for them. Just because someone is young or old or cute or their first time out of the country shouldn't matter, if they are crap they are crap. Why did the crowd boo Alesha when she pressed her buzzer and voted no to his advancement? Who would actually be entertained for more than fifteen seconds by that?
