Time for a life

After looking at the list of things going into the house this year, i may give the normal (not so normal anymore) version a miss. First time, but they do seem to be wanting to ruin the whole show for the original fans. May watch the CBB version, but will see nearer the time, as it all depends if i can be arsed!

I'm kind of relieved to have made the break. I glanced at this years and all the stuff about who they know from last year's and thought I just can't be bothered with that kind of thing.

looks like a carbon copy of last year.

i know alot of people on this forum dont like to admit it but i really think ''normal'' bb has had its day.
i think channel 5 should just stick to CBB which could go on forever in theory.

CBB should be boycotted because of the cruel treatment of the original format.

I'll watch it but, as with last summer, I strongly doubt I'll be investing support towards a housemate like I would in the good old days. I think last year was the first time ever that I literally did not give a shit who won or lost. The series baddies (Helen, Steven, Ash etc) were not even decent villains. So boring. The series goodies (Chris, Ashleigh etc) were quite mean people themselves. Only nice when compared with their dire adversaries.

For a while I've come to the conclusion that the Celebrity series are the best now due to the direction the show has taken. Summer series are just something to watch. Celebrity series are still compulsive viewing, or at least still can be.

Think the opposite way as the celeb version is heavily scripted and money signings are edited accordingly.

Pretty much since they paid a fortune for evander Holyfield and lost him within a few days.

The normal nice person that this forum loved in the regular bb is gone for good though

Can't imagine why people think that watching a 1 hour programme per night is not having a life. Without live feed there is very little bb.

The series "goodies" have never been all that good, though.
