I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that. She was quite good, but not nearly as good as SC and the other judges made out. The young girl who sang a self-penned song was much better, in my view.

I agree OP. Decent cruise ship/cabaret singer but very dated

Sam Bailey mark two for me. A decent singer, but nothing that we have'nt seen before.

Technically excellent but that song usually reduces me to a blubbering wreck and this time I felt nothing.

Perhaps it didn't translate well via the TV but in a TV talent show that's a bit of a problem.

I thought her voice was dull, she's ideal to be a session singer & nothing more IMO.

Well I've frequented pubs for many years and I've also heard thousands of 'pub singers' and i can honestly say I've never heard a singer like that in a pub.

Is this the GO TO phrase about amazing singers that are over 25 and not stick thin these days.

She was outstanding

Glad it's not just me that thinks this. Maybe it sounded better in the arena, but she was nothing more than "good" in my opinion. Very shouty at times too.
