For me? Horrific, mainly, but tastes are subjective. I'm not sure if you are being sincere or not.

10, 9, 5, 4, 2, 1 - I hate beyond all reason.
7 - Boring cover with a beat underneath it.
6 - Typical chart techno of the time, not the worst.
3 - I was never really a fan of.
8 - A re-release I guess.

I'm never a big fan of chart music (as a whole) but '90-'92 was particularly bad.

Horrible tacky versions of 'Please Don't Go' and 'Baker Street'.
Loathsome tepid shite from Jon Secada.
And they're not even the worst because 'Achy Breaky Feckin' Heart' is there too.

'Rhythm Is A Dancer' still sounds magnificent though.

Overall a shocking Top 10.

Not an official chart though as Kylie's - What Kind Of Fool (Heard It All Before) never made the top 10.

There are only three I like out of them.

In order of preference:

Felix - Don't You Want Me
Snap - Rhythm Is A Dancer
The Smiths - This Charming Man

The worst track by some distance is Achy Breaky Heart by Billy Ray Cyrus.

1992's probably my least favourite year of the 90s for music, save for a few killer rave tracks up there with the best of the decade - and Shakespears Sister's 'Stay' which will always be awesome.

Snap and especially Felix are the two mindblowing classics in that chart. The Smiths and Freddie are also great, but they're both decade-old reissues, which seems a bit of a cheat

Ouch that was bad, only redeemed by Kylie looking hot in one of her videos. I didn't like any of them but I don't like 90's music in general.

Shocking. The singer of number 10 was painful and number 7 wasn't much better.

I have a feeling this is an ironic thread and the whole point is most of them are crap?

10. KWS had a fluke success with Please Don't Go and should've left it at that.
9. Kylie Minogue had some great top 10 singles in her early career imo, but What Kind Of Fool not only failed to go top 10 but it's also one of the weakest singles in her entire discography.
8. It probably says a lot when one of the better songs in the top 10 is a re-release originally from 1983.
7. Dance covers!!! They're a curious thing. I hated the dance covers of 80s songs that were being churned out around 2003. I really don't know what it was that made Undercover so successful but at the age of 11 I did like their version of Baker Street. It's not a song I'd choose to play these days.
6. I actually really like Don't You Want Me. One of those more inspirational dance songs of the 90s and still sounds good 23 years on. I think the video is meant to represent what life is like when you're high on drugs or something?
5. I never understood the appeal of Jon Secada and to this day I've always found this song incredibly boring.
4. The Janet & Luther duet is awesome. Loved this track at the time and I still like listening to this occasionally - must be the video version though, the radio mix was crap imo.
3. Barcelona sure stood out from the crowd that was the UK charts around this time. I remember the song was chosen by the BBC as the main soundbed for the Olympics coverage on TV. I actually like the song but it's not something I would choose to listen to.
2. Miley Cyrus' dad!!! The man responsible for the rise in popularity for line dancing. IT WAS HIS FAULT!!!!!!! I don't even think I liked this aged 11, it wasn't the type of music me and my mates listened to.
1. Awesome with a capital AWESOME!!! Rhythm Is A Dancer will always be one of my fave songs of the 90s. I still listen to this every now and again. It just takes me right back to when I started high school and having a laugh with my mates.
