Gay question - SPOILER
Gusto Brunt
11-05-2015
Why do all the men look gay? I know there are two gays.

One very queeny gay. And one moderate gay.

But all the men do look gay in one way or another.

No manly men this year?

It's a bit stereotypical but I think I get what the OP means. It didn't help that the promo pics on saturday night, looked so airbrushed that they looked like waxwork dummies.

How does someone 'look gay'?

Pray tell how someone can LOOK gay?

Men are so metrosexual these days, caring about there appearance and stuff that unless they've got a cock hanging out there gob you can't tell who's gay.

Are gay people not "manly"?
Derbyshire.

I think Busto Grunt counts anyone that combs their hair in the morning as "gay looking"

You need to reconsider your language - it's offensive. Your views are archaic and quite frankly, you sound like a p***.

There's a subtle difference between looking metrosexual and giving off a clear gay vibe

Like that guy Aaron. It's so obvious that he's gay, not just a spiceboy.

Many are, yes.

But does Big Brother pick them? No...

Not offensive to me

(Also, advising someone to reconsider their language while using an expletive is a little "lol". I'm sure you're better than that.)

I totally get the OP, though. Several of the guys in the press lineup do have a stereotypically "gay" look (posture, make-up, pouts). Like another poster said, hard to tell if that's intentional or the result of an over eager photoshopping session.

For the avoidance of screeching outrage please note that I'm not saying all camp-looking people *are* gay. The effeminate look is more commonly associated with certain sections of the gay community. Statement of observation.

Given that Big Brother always reaches for the grab bag of stereotypes, I'm not surprised.

metrosexuals are taking things too far IMHO. The overly plucked eyebrows, this weird phobia about normal natural body hair, what confuses me is how feminine so many guys seem to be these days.

this has Nothing to do with being Gay or sexual identity, it just seems to be a trend and i find it creepy. Maybe that article is true, i read about Testosterone being incredibly Low in most males, compared to pre -1960s. It said that the average 13 yr old boy had higher testosterone then most 20 yr olds today due to chemicals in our foods/ environments

i beleive it

On the gay scene where I live, the men are more 'manly' looking than the men on the straight scene !!
Personally I think straight camp men are a real turn off. All this preening and pouting .

I would love it one year for the men just to be referred to as men without any sexual classification.
It is so tedious, this gay rights, gay marriage, is he gay, is he not?, is he homophobic, is he not?, narrative.
Who cares, it is the type of person these men in BB are that matters not their sexuality.
