Please stop letting these kind of acts through, what is the point of having The X Factor if they come on BGT?, dance acts as just as bad!, go on that Got to Dance thing or some other garbage, they are ruining the how, half of them use sob stories to get through, boo hoo who cares!, enough already, I'm sick of them already.

I don't mind dance acts because there isn't a Syco show for them. With singers, for me it depends on their style of singing. I don't know why pop singers, boybands and girlbands can't just go on X Factor but I have no problem with any other type of singer going on BGT because X Factor isn't for them.

I think that many singers go on BGT rather than The X Factor because it's easier to win or at least get far in the competition. The X Factor has so many more potential elimination stages.

I'm sure they all apply for all of these shows and will appear on whichever one (or ones) they are selected for.

Singing acts and dance acts have as much right as any other kind of act to take part. Every variety show includes singers and dancers. In my view, most of the best acts come into these categories anyway.

You can't have a talent show without singing acts. It also gives choirs like Revelation Avenue the chance to gain exposure which they would never have chance to on something like X Factor or The Voice.

In my opinion.

Variety - Skills (ability that gains from intensive training)
Singing / Dancing / Academics / Sports (or any special ability shown from very early ages) - Talent

Talent coupled with Skills gained through intense training is where magic happens!

But BGT is an entertainment show, that connects directly to the audience watching TV. Singing is the easiest medium to connect to people watching the show. There are exceptions, but again the story told by the acts connects... this is again IMO!

Examples (in both cases background music helped a lot)

There are a lot of singers and dancers again, and I'm bored of them too.

I would rather see silly acts in the final than some of the less original stuff they'll put in the live shows.

The golden buzz acts are singers/dancers too.

Simon will see dollar signs, and David will always choose something ridiculous to annoy the others, but there is no reason the other three couldn't vote for something more original instead.

this manipulated show jumped the shark after the first couple of series anyway. Only watch it when I can't be bothered to move.
