Hahahaha what a great episode!

Phil with the gun - just brilliant! He is such a buffoon it's hilarious!

Then that final scene with Phil 2 and Melissa. Lol!

As for Carol, she is really shining on me this season. She totally delivers. I'm starting to love her more and more each episode. Once again pre-credits Gordon's funeral, she was ace!

Nice to see the whole gang back. It just added so much to the show even though there was less Phil this episode but the last 5 mins made it up! Haha!

Someone please give this show all the awards it deserves!!!

Carol quote of the week: "Is that Gordon with a G? I knew a guy called Dordon! He started his name with a D, as in devil."

I love this programme.

Great episode again, Phil and Carol are just magic together. I'm a bit disappointed with January Jones though, she just doesn't seem interested enough and is devoid of any facial emotions. Maybe they have just written her character like that but it doesn't seem so.

Terrible actress. She was exactly the same in Mad Men.

The writing for Carol has been great this season. She's had some cracking one liners in every episode so far. The one above from last night was good! Lol.

I loved Carol's "mourning" on the beach

I also love the fact that Phil was dressed in a full tux ready to re-meet everyone (I don't know why but that tickled me). And the fact the completely logical way (in Phil's mind) to get the guys to listen to him was to threaten them with a gun

Damon Lindelof wrote this about her after she was in that X-Men film

"Emma Frost's THREE mutant powers," he wrote. "Telepathy, Transformation to Solid Diamond and last but not least, Sucking at Acting."

BTW from next week the new episodes are on at 11:00 so I'm guessing that the viewing figures for the show haven't been great as they only showing QI repeats in its old slot.

If the ratings are low it can't be because of the show not being good enough.

A lot of people just don't bother with smaller channels. I didn't bother with these types of channels for years.

It's a great show.

Part of the trouble is that Dave is on Freeview only and not on Freesat, Not sure if it is on Sky.

Also there are too many Dogs and breaks on Dave.

Absolute joke that Dave has moved the timeslot to 11pm from tomorrow! That's way too late for a 30min comedy. Really disappointed in Dave.

When they had double bills of season 1 TLMOE it was always on at 9pm for those 7 weeks. I don't understand why they've done this for season 2 since we're only a couple of episodes into the new season.

Guess it will remain a hidden gem of a show.

Can't believe I've missed the start of season 2. Hope I can get it on catchup.

And despite being the person to give the heads up, I forgot it was on and missed the first ten minutes.

And it's odd how a channel that is mostly repeats, doesn't repeat one of it's own shows.

Just when it was starting to get really funny again they end up going back to the faults of last season. The dreaded group hatred is back again and even worse this time. Why can't they kill that lot off and start again. We don't want all the bickering and fighting yet again, the show is much funnier with Carol & Phil on their own.

Yes it was a terrible episode. Do the producers think we hate Phil that much we want to see him humiliated? Even if we did, it wouldn't be by that lot of bland characters.

Will Forte/Phil/Tandy is one of the producers and the show creator so like it or loathe it, what we're seeing is what he wants on-screen.

Just caught up with the latest episode and i have to agree, not a particularly good episode. Weakest one out of the season so far.

Think the main problem is having Phil aka Tandy being segregated from the group because of their hatred of him. It doesn't make the show funny. This can only last for so long but sooner or later they're going to have to accept him warts and all. It's actually rather annoying and doesn't move the story along in anyway. Seeing Phil be humiliated just makes me cringe.

If it was me i'd just take Carol and leave the group but we know that's not going to happen. Although with his punishment now over i really hope things change and it goes back to the lols once more.

Getting a bit fed up with the way they're treating Phil tbh. And why is he so needy?? I would just take Carol, say sod you lot and bugger off.

The trouble is, it is Carol that wants to stay with them, no Phil. He is only trying to stay with them for the sake of Carol.

I would have wiped them all out had I been the last man on earth.

Phil's relentless jackassery is really affecting my enjoyment of the show. I realize that every comedy needs conflict of some sort, but Phil is in danger of becoming a cartoon. David Brent and Michael Scott were cringe-worthy yet sympathetic; not so Tandy.

Well that was the worst episode of the series so far. The show really has gone down hill and the other cast members add nothing to the show.

Just re-running S1 now in a different location.

Todd's behaviour was totally out of character - He just wouldn't have done that.
