My EPG did have Last Man but is now showing Dave Gorman next Mon.
The double bill looks like being Mon 9th from 10.20pm. |

At this point I'm seeing the next episode listed as a single on the 9th at 23:20, presumably then a single (final) ep on the 16th?
Place your bets etc

Would much rather prefer a double bill back to back to round off the finale. If Dave are smart that's what they'll do. For me the show suits being shown in double bills like season 1 instead of a single episode. We'll find out soon enough.

I've just noticed that the synopsis is no longer showing up on my planned recordings ( it was before ).
Plus it has now disappeared from my EPG. I suspected this might happen - it's not the first time. |

Wow, I've recently found out that Mel Rodriguez and Will Forte really did half shave their heads for the show! I dunno how long they had to keep it like that, but that must have made life a bit difficult for a while.

On next Monday at 11.20pm. There's no repeat showing later that same night either.

Argh! It didn't record last night, looks like it fell off the radar following a re-tune and being more than a week away...

One of the better eps of this disappointing run. I found myself combing the listings last night looking for a reason not to watch it, it's become that much of a chore! It seems they remembered the title of the show and decided to make this episode relevant to it - Something of a rarity for them.
Quite moving at the end, which I wasn't expecting. |

It'll be on Dave's catch-up service, whatever it's called.

Just a heads up tomorrow's season 2 season finale will be on (at the ridiculous timeslot) of 11.20pm and you have the +1 showing at 12.20am.
I've got a whole bunch of episodes lined up to binge watch one after the other so despite others saying this season hasn't been as good as season 1 maybe it'll be different watching the show in one go rather than waiting a week or weeks because of all the US breaks. Fingers crossed the routine changes for season 3 and they don't show it at US Pace so soon and leave it a few weeks or a couple of months. |

I've had the misfortune of using that a couple of times.

They still seem to have plenty of fuel that still hasn't gone off.
Although Phil obviously drove to Tucson using Plutonium. |

It was a really poor season, such a wasted concept, they even wasted the character of the brother who could have saved the show if he had been given better storylines.
The rest of the cast just seem to be there to make up the numbers, which are not even needed in a show about 'The Last Man on Earth'. I think it would have taken a great writer to write a comedy about one person left on earth and no one else there. |

Bump.
Season 3 has started, anyone watching? Looks like they are going down the same route as before and having all the group still together. It's getting a bit stale now and needs a different direction. The guest star spot wasn't bad but that was about it. |

The guest star spot wasn't bad but that was about it. What is the point of a show called 'The Last Man on Earth' if he spends most of his time with a group of people? It would take real courage and skill to write a show where he really was the last man on earth. He could either be literally the last man on earth but there could be women, or there could be other people but he meets them once per episode then he finds out there is something wrong with them and has to either kill them or leave them. There are so many other permutations of this show they could have had. |
