Good portable Phone charger?
I'm going to America for three weeks next month, and there will be a lot of travelling involved, so want to get a good portable Phone charger (I have an iPhone 5S) to take with me. I have a free one I got, but it doesn't hold much power. Does anyone have any recommendations? I'm happy enough to pay up to about £40, if it's worth it.

I use an Anker Astro E5 when I travel.

I went for the Aukey 20,000mAh for Glastonbury and was a bargain on Amazon for £20 with reviews of 5 stars.
Depends if you are ok with the weight, but fits in the pocket ok and will charge a phone 5+ times. I tried to post a link, but for some reason its not cut and pasting on my phone at the moment. Just search Amazon for the above. |

It's a balance between power and portability.
How many charges do you need and how big do you want it to be? Anker have served me well, highly reccomend as a brand. |

Exactly....i have the Anker® 2nd Gen Astro E4 13000mAh 2-Port £19.99 Amazon and it gives me 4 full charges for my S6. I'm very happy with it and they're brining out newer models all the time |

Thanks for these suggestions. I'm not too fussed about size/weight, as I'll be on a plane/in a car when I need to use the charger. The Anker ones seem to be quite popular. Quote:
I don't need an adapter, I need a portable phone charger.

I can really recommend the one that I said about if you did not worry about the size and weight as you get a decent 20,000mAh pack instead of the Ankers 16,000mAh for the same price.
Managed to cut and paste now. They do it in black or white and look at the reviews (4.9 out of 5): http://www.amazon.co.uk/Aukey-20000m...aukey+20000mah |

I'm thinking about one of these, Jackery Bar Premium Fast-Charging Aluminum Portable Charger 6000mAh External Battery Pack
charges a 5s twice, £19.99 and almost all 5 star reviews http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00AANMVNQ?psc=1 |

This one does look good and the reviews are excellent. I was tempted for going with something like the Anker and then went with the reviews on this one and I'm glad I did. The only problem is it being 1p under the free deliver charge with Amazon, but you could always just get a cheap USB lead to pip it over the £20 or see if there is another seller with free delivery (I'm sure I got mine from the maker via Amazon). |

Yeah, that would have been annoying, but I ordered a book at the same time! Was going to get an mains adapter but I already have some at home that fit it. Thanks for suggesting it!
