Xperia tablet keyboard issues following Lollipop
As the title suggests the keyboard has real issues when using Chrome following the Lollipop upgrade.
Scenario - I'm typing a forum entry on my Tablet (could have been this one - it wasn't but could have been). I'm using the Chrome browser for my post and I suddenly realise I've made a couple of typo's. When I place my finger where I want the cursor to be not a lot happens. Quite often if I touch the area for a fraction too long then the copy/cut function is activated. When it does work it is very hit and miss, not at all precise. Open Firefox and what a difference. As soon as I touch the area where I want to make a correction the cursor becomes an orange slider allowing me to move it to precisely where I want it. What gives - Chrome wasn't like this with KitKat. I have stopped using Chrome for the time being as it's such an issue.

I forgot to mention that the keyboard on my Xperia phone works as it should i.e. tap the area you want, blue slider appears (chrome) and slide to where you want it.

I think without doubt the solution is to use Firefox rather than Chrome for the time being. Something of an embarrassment that Chrome and the keyboard do not function correctly with Google's premier operating system. |-O
