She's the worst kind of UKIP supporter. Ask her to name one reason other than immigration why she voted UKIP and she wouldn't have a clue. This is what UKIP have done very well this election, appealed to the uneducated by honing in on their inner-racism. It's ashtonishing and frankly quite worrying that so many fell for it.

UKIP, the SNP and the Greens are all basically one-issue parties.

That's what voters seem to want.

I'm not a fan of UKIP but everyone shoul be free to vote for who they want. It is a democracy after all

What worries me with parties like UKIP is in reality they don't have the ability to run the country and can pretty much promise what they want. It also worries me it just one of the parties policies people really remember/discuss/support them for

We can't base support or even dislike too much on just one issue which to me seems to address the vulnerable. Why as a nation or human race do we automatically target the weak ones during times of struggle.

I suppose as well I've always been of the opinion that just because I was lucky enough to be born in this country doesn't mean I have a right to it and nobody else does. I see it that I was born on this planet and it just doesn't sit well with me to tell people where they are allowed, based on the lottery of birth.

I know though it's probably idealistic to think that way, but too me the best ideas come when your being idealistic and not dismissive.
