I liked Nick. I got the impression that he was joking in his VT. He reminded me of Chris Wright last year:

It was evident to everyone except Pauline that Chris was joking, and he was one of the few good things about last year. Nick didn't make it quite so obvious, but I think provided he doesn't go out really early he could turn out to be a really nice guy.

I love his self-deprecatory take and I think the contrary of what he says and that he will indeed be liked.
