It could make a big difference..............if he has the power to claim immunity once voted for then i don't think they will even bother and we have our first finalist, but if he can only play immunity before voting then he might panic and waste/use them earlier than normal..

I hope its the 2nd one.that way, other peoples votes wont be wasted either.

He will have 3 immunity passes to use if/ when he is up for eviction- that's how I understood it anyway.
But it doesn't really matter now as housemates will see him as a wasted nomination and not vote for him. Just as ridiculous as the other twists tonight.

Hate the twist because he will be vilified now for winning that, even though he's a decent guy.

I just assume they'll be automatically activated when he's nominated. So nobody will bother, this could even be a subtle pass to the final...

I hadn't really thought about it, but automatically assumed he could excuse himself from 3 nominations, which he would have to inform BB of in advance. Hmmmm now I want to know what it really means.

Best thing would be to keep nominating him until he's used them up.

Does he actually have to use them? It would be nice if he didnt use them, he seems like a nice kid and would go up in my estimation if he didnt use them at all.

Basically, he is through to the final. He ain't going to be up enough times to use those immunity passes.

I doubt UK HM's will grasp that idea.

It makes him a really easy vote for the first 3 times. If he's nominated, its up to him if he faces eviction., so it's free of guilt in a way. He would look bad if he started complaining about others making him use his saves.

The HM's won't do it though, they always mess up these kind of things.

Hopefully Nick (is it Nick with the face to face?) will start the ball rolling as it's an easy nom for him, then the rest can follow to get rid of them

I took it as he can use it to remove himself if he is put up for eviction, much like the "Power of Veto" they have in the America version.

I have a feeling we could see him having to use it early, as some may use him as a nomination when they cry about loving everyone and it being soooooooooooooooooooooo hard to nominate someone.

This is exactly what I was thinking. Nick may have been thrown out of school and be unemployed but he is certainly not stupid. Nominating Jack will be a kind of get of jail free card for him.

Or they might all decide to nom him for the first three weeks thus using up the immunities and levelling the playing field

If his passes are to be used after the nominations then I don't think I'd be wasting my nominations on Jack if I was in there. I mean someone's got to be evicted the weeks where he uses a pass.
There wouldn't be much point in trying to level the playing field if you're not even in the house when his passes run out and you'd leave yourself susceptible to eviction if you kept wasting nominations.

I thought it mean that he couldn't be voted for in the first three round of noms?

Simon Gross has been evicted from Big Brother 2015 after all of 90 MINUTES inside!

At the top of the live show, host Emma Willis teased: “Tonight, you light the fuse. You are going to be part of a Big Brother first. We’ve always wanted to do it but we’ve never had the guts!

“Tonight, Big Brother will drop the first time bomb live and it’ll send shockwaves through the house”

The housemates then entered the house one by one just as they always do, to all sorts of reactions from the live crowd.

Once all fifteen housemates were safe and secure behind locked doors, a poll on the official BBUK app opened for just two minutes.

Emma revealed that the five housemates with the most votes would play a game and there would be rewards for the winners but for one housemate there would be ‘dire’ consequences.

Gathering the housemates in the garden in the house, Big Brother announced the results with Adjoa Mensah, Jack McDermott, Jade-Martina Lynch, Nick Henderson and Simon Gross being selected.

BB told them they had an important choice to make, giving the group 30 seconds to decide amongst themselves which of what five golden ‘timebombs’ they should each stand behind.

With each of the five chosen housemates behind a timebomb, Big Brother instructed them in turn to reveal the contents by pulling a pin.

Jack went first and won three immunity passes to be used during his time in the house.

Nick was cursed with face to face nominations, meaning all of his nominations during the house must be done face to face.

Jade won a personal luxury shopping budget for her time in the house.

Big Brother then announced that one of Simon and Adjoa would be EVICTED there and then, insisting that there was NO fake eviction and NO secret rooms.

Before the pair revealed their time bombs, they were given the chance to switch bombs but decided not too.

Opening their bombs together, Simon was evicted. Adjoa’s bomb did not contain anything.

Simon said: “Have a great time all of you, for the five minutes I’ve met you it’s been fantastic. It’s a bit unfair but…”

And with that, Simon headed straight back out of the house to speak to Emma again, insisting: “It was great, it’s SHOWBIZ!”

Big Brother continues nightly on Channel 5.
