What has he said to make you think he has a high opinion of himself? All we've seen is his VT in which he explained what he does for a living.

Oh come on, he said it in a joking way. If I had got into one of the top Uni's I would probably say to friends "Just off to one of the top Uni's in the country" messing about. This is the problem with these horrendous entrance VT's...viewers watch them and think they reflect what the housemate is actually like, when in reality they have been told by the production team what to say and do. A character is created for each VT, but after 16 years some viewers still fail to understand that and seem to think that what they see in that one minute video is gospel.

Yep, I agree with you.
He, might well be a thoroughly nice bloke, and it's too early to write anyone off. I'll be interested to see if I've got him totally wrong. That's part of the fun of the show I guess. Let's see how he does.
