So the twist was staged, right?

Are we seriously expected to believe that they would've risked losing one of the obvious chosen ones like the twins, Eileen, or Danny on opening night?

I think BB would have had good reason to place the eviction time-bomb on the centre podium, the most deluded one would have rushed to that spot and that's just what happened I did like the idea that they could switch places, in that scenario no one would move, would they?

It might have been.

Perhaps he was paid £5,000 for the job. Now he's back home. Job done.

SHOWBIZ is this year's Pauline.

There were likely a number of options for the twist dependent on who was voted for. Had SHOWBIZ not been picked, they would have changed the podium options and got rid of him another way.

SHOWBIZ was there simply to big up this season's theme. He'll have got his reward.

You might recall that Pieman was desperate for the green podium, but SHOWBIZ moved like a whippet to get there first.

Not yet sure who the chosen one is, but I suspect that like last year SHOWBIZ is not the only one under instructions.

I guess you can equate it to the guy who sets in the pace in a mile run.

He usually drops out before the end - and is paid to do so.

I have no proof...however - it felt like it was a fix.

I did notice that Jack is it ? Pie Face insisted that he be the green podium , he said it over and over again and when ordered to return to their seats he said it again, I want green, which strangely turned out to be immunity .

I saw other people posting saying it's the colour of the football team he supports.

Clutching at straws a bit, I would have thought.

I thought it was strange what Jack was saying too, although honestly my favorite colour is yellow and if there was a yellow podium I'd probably try and get that one.

It seems more likely that big brother put it in the green one hoping he was drawn to it, if they really care about keeping him that much, though honestly he's probably the one who least needs immunity.

Out of everyone im happy it was Simon was evicted, he was giving me serious Perez on launch night vibes.

I've got a feeling that all that "SHOWBIZ!" nonsense was designed to annoy the viewer and make them vote for him.

That would seem to be a reasonable reason.

But less than 24 hours in - and despite what seems to be a reasonable cast - we have already got serious doubts about the integrity of the series.

It does seem that the word cast rather than housemates seems appropriate this year - I am thinking scripted reality unfortunately. Time will tell but we may finally have seem the last vestiges of traditional big brother disappear as I do agree that Simon was brought in to do a job. A bit like that actor chappie of a couple of years back.

best to think TOWIE rather than BB this year - but time will tell.

I'm not trying to be negative but what isn't faked on this show?, seriously.
The only thing that is probably 'real' is the small talk that we don't get to see on Channel 5 anyway because of the lack of live feed.

It's on TV on repeat now I just watched it and it was strange,

Nick went for green, then big brother told them all to go back to the bench, then Jack was "I need green, Nick im going green" so when they were asked to go to the timebombs again Jack ran over and Nick was left with the other one.

Even if it's not fixed, slightly rude to Nick.

That's exactly what I thought. Knew as soon as I saw Showbiz take the centre podium he was toast.

He's a Plymouth Argle fan and they wear green. He's a huge footie fan and that's the reason. Green Army

It does lend credence to the fixed theory

Pie Face not following orders so they had to start again - he will be getting a telling of from the shows directors

Also it does seem to point to Pie face being one of this years chosen ones.

That may be the reason they put the immunity prize in the green bomb. Simple for him to pick and with a cover story

It came across as highly rude. I almost hope it was a fix as otherwise it suggests Pie Face is a nasty boy.

Pie Face is at the bottom of the bin full of left over chippy scraps for me at the moment.

----

Have to agree it all seemed mighty suspicious last night, I also wonder 'how many' immunities it would have been for someone else had they physically shoved the Pie out of the way

The blond boy said in his VT that he loves insulting people behind their backs. He went on about it for a little bit. Then he was the one who just happened to get the bomb that makes him nominate face to face. Too obvious.
