I never watched the 6pm news as I had to go to the supermarket and chippy. So only 30 mins at 10pm for me

The chippy sounds nice, perfect for any night of the week!

Purely by accident I caught Would I Lie To You (BBC1) tonight and enjoyed it, will tune in next week. The good news was only three more weeks of Chris Evans on TOS.

Yes it's a good show - not bothering with the repeats mind you but it's a good laugh.

Usual ITV soaps for 'er indoors tonight, with recording/delayed watching of Celebrity Masterchef (currently on BBC1). Was going to go for The Eiger Sanction late night movie on ITV but seen it before and as the PVR is filling up will give it a miss. Out tomorrow so no tv.

Nothing on ITV, that's for sure!

As I've said in the ratings thread, from 8.25AM this morning until 10PM tonight, it's probably the worst ever Saturday schedule on ITV. Although, I know it doesn't take much!

Utter dross all day, from Weekend to Jezza to Harry flaming potter.

Well I won't be watching Pointless it would seem as per usual the tennis is over-running and everyone who is not a tennis fan can go **** themselves, would seem to be the usual message from the BBC.

I'm sure they'd upset a lot more viewers if they cut the tennis. Pointless has enough airing throughout the week, so dropping one episode won't hurt.

Cant see anything remotely interesting to me on the main 1 to 5 channels tonight..... but i rather like the look of the Norwegian film King Of Devil's Island on BBC4.

Yes the usual excuse trundled out every time!

And that's all it is, an excuse! It doesn't address anything.

The solution is to advertise that tennis is on for as long as it could reasonably take and when if it finishes earlier than that, stick some filler programme on then.

That way no one is inconvenienced waiting around for a programme that doesn't happen and be on the receiving end of the usual patronising excuses thinking that only they matter.

Of course they are, every summer and every Christmas in primetime.

They need to find a set of films to replace Star Wars though, until they can get the rights back (once $ky has finished cashing in on them building up to the new release).

Rush on C4 at 9pm is a brilliant film. Can't see anything else worth bothering with tonight though.

Yep. They are.

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (2001)
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002)
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004)
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005)

That is what has aired so far.

Still to come….

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007)
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009)
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 (2010)
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 (2011)

Ah, nice one. Was a great film wasn't it. Really well done. Great story, well documentary almost and the actors playing James and Niki were brilliant.

Today is amazingly good for Sunday TV: tennis, athletics, Cardiff Singer of the World final and Humans. Plus Columbo on ITV 3 and endless Judge Judy on CBS reality. Spoilt for choice.

I can so easily see the day slipping away.

I see ITV have an inspiring schedule all this Sunday (again).
