Foyle's War: Seen every one of them - an excellent series over the years, consistent storylines and good acting.

Cilla: Saw this first time round last year, very good drama - not wholly accurate according to some reviews ( I guess they took dramatic licence) but on the whole very watchable and an interesting portrayal of a "one of a kind" character. Sheridan Smith was excellent as the lead.

Sheriffs: Fascinating stuff (if a bit repetitive) - good for an hour.

Bake Off: It just doesn't appeal to me/us. And yet we watch Masterchef/Celebrity Masterchef/Come Dine With Me etc... - I prefer cookery progs to baking, and I'm not keen on Mel & Sue (tiresome innuendos - please, we've heard it all before) nor Hollywood or Berry for that matter. Still it's a great rating programme and very popular.

I have seen most eps of Foyles War as well but it is a great watch.

Also I watched Cilla last year as well but when I watched it last night I knew I had to watch again

That's exactly the opposite of us MrS - we watch Bake Off but not Masterchef (mainly because Mr Alley can't abide Gregg Wallace and I fear for both his health (Mr Alley's) and the Telly if he yells at him too much - he may die of spontaneous combustion like that character from Bleak House )

Anyways, on to tonight at Alleycat Towers:

5.15 - Pointless
6.00 - BBC News and South Today
7.00 - Cricket Highlights on 5 (unless England have staged an Aussie-style collapse, in which case I fear for My Alley's health again (see above)) and record Emmerdale
8.00 - Watch Emmerdale recorded earlier - unless the Garden needs watering
8.30 - Gardners' World (BBC2)
9.00 - GBBO Extra Slice (BBC2)
9.30 - Either the first half of the Rick Stein thing (BBC2) or the second half of BBQ Champ (ITV) or Emmerdale (if not watched at 8.00)
10.00 - BBC News Headlines then bedtime

So tonight I will celebrate by Watching

6.pm News - ITV
7pm Emmerdale - ITV - love a good disaster
8pm River City - BBC 1 Scotland
9pm New Tricks - BBC 1
10pm Eastenders - bbc 3

Never watched Freeze out tonight but will check it out tomorrow”

Well done

Tonight:
Ripper Street - although it's not like the first 2 series and I didn't enjoy it as much last week. I'll give it another try tonight.
I'm recording Secrets & Lies on 5 USA as it's on at the same time. I missed it last week. Oh, I thought it only started last week, I've just seen it's episode 5 Still I'll watch it. Can't view 5USA on catchup
I'm not bothered if there's nothing on I particularly want to watch before 9pm although I do usually watch things like Mastermind and Gardener's World both on tonight and University Challenge. But at that time I'm usually either sewing or online so don't watch too closely.

I'll watch both Corries and Emmerdale then the Frank Sinatra thing on BBC 4. I'll probably see if anything takes my fancy on CI or ID after that - I'm getting a bit hooked on true crime stories.

Afraid I've given up on that - it's okay but I just can't see myself being interested in it enough for another 4 weeks.

Watched Flockstars last night - good for a laugh at 25 mins, nothing too serious! The Wonder Of Britain with Julia Bradbury was interesting.

Onto tonight:-

Emm/Coro/Emm for the good lady ITV 7-8 & 8.30-9pm, recording Would I Lie To You (great laugh) BBC1 8.30-9pm... so later on it's delayed viewing of WILTY & a couple more Come Dine With Me's.

Not sure if on here tomorrow so Saturday's line up is (recording for delayed watching late night):-

Football Tonight - C5 9-10.25pm, Match Of The Day - BBC1 10.20-11.40pm & Pop Gold (STV 11.25pm-12.25am).
