I hope someone can give me some ideas as Tuesday is not very good for telly watching. Otherwise, it's the pub.
I take it you don't like 'No Offence'? How about New Tricks on Drama channel? There's often good stuff on BBC Radio 4 and 4 Extra but I've looked and the dramas that are on tonight are into 2nd episode but 'All In The Mind' is good on Radio 4, 9 - 9.30. Tonight it says "Claudia Hammond investigates the effects of alcohol on the brain, the influence of classical Indian music on mood and a new exhibition of strong dresses at the Museum of The Mind; that last item sounds a barrel of laughs It's usually good though if you like that sort of thing.

Just spotted 'The Tuffers and Vaughan Cricket Show' on BBC Radio 5 Live 7.30pm - 8.30pm; if you like cricket. That's followed by 5 Live Sport, looking at the issue of sudden cardiac death and how it poses a threat to young people involved in sport.

Palladium is good apart from Jimmy carr
I agree with the Jimmy Carr bit. Don't usually watch The Palladium; there's always more than one act I don't like. However I caught a bit on Sunday and recorded the rest of it so I can just watch the acts I like and cut out JC completely!

That's the highlight of our night tonight. My girlfriend laughs at "John Bacchus, Sex God" Quite a good actor though, the guy that plays him. Seen him in other stuff.

Similar pattern tonight for us - Emmerdale & Coronation St. for the missus, we'll watch another Couples Come Dine With Me then Newzoids (recorded earlier) later on.

Managed to watch the whole of Eurovision (recorded) last night, Palladium still not watched - might go for that on Friday night.

Apart from my nightly assignment with Andromeda on Pick at 7.00pm the only other thing I have ringed for tonight is Peter Kay at 9.30

In between the two shows I'll put the footy on Sky Sports

Now that the election is over I've started watching Newsnight again to round off the evening

5.00 - 5.15 - Just Good Friends (BBC2) or Flog It (BBC1)
5.15 - 6.00 - Pointless (BBC1)
6.00 - 6.30 - BBC News at Six (BBC1)
6.30 - 7.00 - Local News (BBC1)
7.00 - 8.00 - Channel 4 News (C4)
8.00 - 9.00 - RHS Chelsea Flower Show (BBC2)
9.00 - 10.00 - The Detectives (BBC2)
10.00 - 10.25 - BBC News at Ten (BBC1)
10.25 - 10.45 - Local News (BBC1)
10.45 - 11.00 - Newsnight (BBC2)
I like how you stick to the guidelines of 5pm - 11pm. I take you watch flog it or just good friends from the start and newsnight till it finishes.
Thats a lot of TV!

TV from practically home from work. At least it isn't brain dead soaps or supposedly reality TV. Though, it is a lot of news which is usually some form of spin. Not that I'm saying news is bad but it can be dependant on what the topic is.

I was out so I missed everything. I'm off work until next week so I can stay up and watch catch up. What's worth a look?

Depends what type of programmes you usually enjoy but for me it would be:
Chelsea Flower Show - BBC2
George Gently - BBC1
A Question of Sport - BBC1
If you like documentaries and factual programmes:
Horizon - Is Binge Drinking Really That Bad - BBC2
The Real White Queen and Her Rivals (War of the Roses) - BBC4

I have watched a lot of Chelsea, George Gently and A Question of Sport in my time. I used to have a bit of a thing for Ally McCoist.

I'm not that into documentaries. I've just listened to a play on the radio but I might have a look at George Gently. I used to have a bit of a thing for Martin Shaw.
