He looks like the kind of person you see every day around town.

He's not camp, he's not a model, He isn't up his own arse or self obsessed with delusions of adequacy.

I assume this is a casting error?

Obviously.

He is the one who slipped in through a mistake in the selection process, no airs and graces, no fake tan, no modelling career, has a proper job, isn't self-obsessed, just wants to have some fun.

My favourite along with Nick.

He seems to have manufactured himself into a local celebrity, I don't encorage people to call me a nickname and shout it at me in the street.
He's been on Deal or no Deal so presumably applies for all TV going.

I agree. He has the potential to be a phenomenal housemate.

But what, if anything, is actually interesting about him?

The very slim pickings of the opening night had Pieface reminding me of Student John from Hijack (I think). He also got some kind of by on launch night, didn't he? Unassuming, portly, baby-faced, softly-spoken, somewhat overwhelmed and superficially nice but bland.

He seems like a refreshingly down to earth, chubby funster. A bit like Laura Williams from BB8.

This. Something about him bugged me straight away. I feel like the whole pie face thing is way to forced, I've got a feeling the whole normal guy routine won't last long.

He was a complete bore on live feed last night.

But being fat and having a silly nickname will make him the first week favourite.

*chanting* Fire-Face! Fire-Face!
But what, if anything, is actually interesting about him?

"If" he was genuine when he said he isnt very interested in fame afterwards the contrast would be refreshing.
I am too cynical these days.

Oh no. He's already got the dressing gown!

Yes, in Hijack BB John Loughton got a pass to the final via a task on opening night.

Like Helen, who also had a pass to the final, he went on to win.

Being a model is really not that unusual a job to have you know. Lots of people model while pursuing their studies as it can help pay the way.

I don't like Jack , I don't like "salt of the earth" types.
