Feel a bit sorry for whoever it might have been - unless it had been that Christen guy of course. His rapper nonsense is far more irritating than "SHOWBIZ!" if you can imagine such a thing. Reminds me of that Dale guy from the Mario & Lisa series. Just stands there thinking he's the shit waiting for a romance to arrive.

Well, showbiz is a fickle mistress!

I think he would of been a good housemate. Maybe annoying at times but I think he would of been very entertaining. What a waste. Stupid Big brother.

It was cruel - regardless of what an annoying twonk he was.

The amount of hoops he would've had to jump through to get the gig and the general disruption to his day-to-day life to set aside time to do the show and the producers throw it back in his face and laugh at him whilst doing so.

oh please, yeh its a bit cruel but its BB and they all know anything could happen. Also I doubt Mr Showbiz actually cares as he'll always be remembered as the quickest evictee ever

Also I actually don't believe he's went through a normal audition process

Not so much cruel put just a pointless stunt.
Why are we supposed to care about someone we saw for 5 minutes ?
As usual the producers went for the shock value without thinking of the lasting effects .
This show will never change till they have a complete overhaul of the production team

It's a good job he had his own business, what if it had been somebody who had given up there job to go in.

Cruel is fun. And no one died; it's just a tv prog!!

Better than the usually lame "twists" that are hyped up to stupid levels before resulting in a "meh" affair

I thought it was hilarious and everyone in my house laughed themselves sick when he screamed "F*** OFF" at the audience member. To whoever said he handled it with great dignity, you've got to be kidding

And as for it being cruel, thats life. You go on a show like BB, you have to be prepared to take whatever they throw at you.

Very entertaining indeed. Keep it up please.

I'm convinced it was a fix not the whole thing just him, he dashed to the middle podium. The other results were random I think though. I really don't see them risking a HM like Jack in this random situation. And although he came off disappointed he handled it fairly well. I got the feeling the SHOWBIZ mantra was staged so he would come off as annoying to the audience and we would not be sad to see the back of him. He seemed overly annoying for someone who has been in the industry for so long to be quite so awkward.
The main reason for this whole thing apart from a launch night twist I think is to put the HMs on edge and set the scene for the series. BB likes to mess with their minds, if it was for real fine, but this series is set to be one where the HMs will be messed with big time.

I think that he did. One of the girls recognised him and clearly said 'Hey, I know you, you were at my audition' (Or words close enough)

So I think he prob did audition, but I dont really care that he went as he (for me) would have been just too attention seeking and have driven me nuts

Yes I was thinking that myself. For instance, why was Jack running round saying "I MUST have green" like a mantra as soon as they heard what was happening ?

I think he was probably there for a different kind of audition to her

A lot of people are saying this and I'm not normally one for conspiracy theories but I think there could be some truth in it

the producers were trying to think outside the box & sadly we all know that thinking isn't their forte

Nobody is a "risk" on the first night, not even night, the first hour lol. Jack might come across as a total bore and end up doing nothing for their ratings so they're not risking anything.

I'm giving them credit for thinking up a great twist as I found it entertaining.

Fair enough I can see this point of view as well if they did their job and picked all good HMs they should be fine losing any of them. It still looked fishy to me, but that's SHOWBIZ!

But the same could be said about the first and second evictees who only in there one or two weeks. Wasn't there one series where the first eviction was like 3 days in?
Purple.

Condemned to a few nominations would have been more appropriate

It's been mentioned on other threads that green is the colour of his football team. He's a heavy gambler so this might be his lucky colour.

It's interesting that the votes were free through the app and it was vague what was actually being voted for, so if Simon does come back there can be no protest about money taken under false pretences.
