Technically he is, but we didn't pay to get him out so small chance he could go back as per the theme for this year

That wasn't an eviction. The public didn't vote for him. He's not properly gone either, it's so obvious. He'll be back in a couple of weeks at the most and they'll use the whole timebomb theme to go back in time and bring him back. In fact, he was quite a big personality so what they'll probably do is keep him out of the house until the big character/s in there have been evicted, then they'll throw him back in to keep things going. The show is so predictable.

Exactly... as far as I'm concerned the only proper evictions are ones that take place as a result of the noms and voting process

Chris Eubank has first dibs back in CBB1

However this doesn' really count does it? it wasn't via a public vote just a pointless twist

But an eviction is an eviction, public vote or not.

Nope, In BB4 housemates had to choose 1 person each to nominate to face the vote.

Anouska, Jon, Scott and Federico all received nominations and faced the vote.

Anouska was then evicted, but not until the following friday

This one really bothers me. As far as the show is concerned Simon is the first evictee. Whoever Emma announces as the next evictee will more than likely be announced as "the second person to be evicted is..."

It's a shame we've waited fifteen years for a male first evictee and when we finally get onw it comes with a big asterisk.

The public have still not voted out a male first in regular BB, yes Simon was out first but as a result of a twist but NOT as a result of a public vote, until the first eviction vote of the series the always a female VOTED out first remains

Yes, I see this Time Bomb theme as little more than an excuse to justify bringing back housemates when the public vote has been 'wrong'.
