Wonder how he will cope with Plymouth playing tomorrow night in the play offs and not having a bet.

He never wins on football coupons he says everyone wins sometimes if you did it properly

He seems ok but I'd probably like him more if it wasn't for the predictable 'love the less pretty housemates' as usual bandwagon. He's been on Deal Or No Deal too which suggests he likes being on tv and he's not as naive as some think.

Good point! for someone who is a self-confessed gambler with a problem, you can guarantee he has had someone place a bet on himself to win, In fact I would put money on it.....

I hope he loses some weight while he's in there, not because I'm being sizeist but because I think it would do his self esteem a world of good. Being called pie face must hurt

Yep. me too. Let's hope he's not a bit like either of them

Feel bad but already he is getting on my nerves. I don't really know why. Perhaps because I'm a horrible person.

Don't like him and don't know why he is the favourite

I'm not keen, too cutesy. He's got stuff on his side though, over weight, cups of tea, dad's dressing gown, plus a gambling problem all for the 'aww bless him' vote.

Plus 3 immunities to help him through.

He does remind me of Jack and Joe, and I didn't like those two. But, I will wait and see as it's early days.

Is it the dressing gown?

I know it's shallow but that really irritates me too. This is their BIG moment - they are on TV in front of millions and they choose to slop about in a dressing gown and it's only day 1.

I have no problem with people wanting to feel comfortable and relaxed but slopping about all day in a dressing gown (especially this early on) doesn''t bode well.

We can be horrible together as he's getting on my nerves too. I just think he's trying too hard.

I agree. I haven't warmed to him either for the same reason he seems to be trying too hard. And I believe that it is a gameplan. Not that it's wrong to have a gameplan, but I think it pokes a finger in the eye of those who claim that he's some sort of 'normal' innocent who's naive to it all. To me he does come across as being a bit forced and contrived to some extent.
I'm not saying that he's a bad person, he probably isn't, but there isn't anything about him which makes me feel obliged to like him. Certainly not to the extent which is evident on BOTS. Like most of them, he's done sod all yet to have much of an opinion of him.

Yes, I agree and I've noticed whenever anyone is talking about which girls are the most fanciable, he quickly says he's not interested in that sort of things, like a ready made excuse.

If I had to pick one housemate who I think definitely won't win, it would be Jack. He's currently favourite, and for him to win he would need to not only sustain this popularity for weeks to come, but build upon it too. Being such an early favourite in the game is pretty much a curse now days.

These 'dressing gown' housemates don't tend to fare that well in the long run. They start out strong as early favourites, and then people go off them.
Laura and Jo from S Club 7 being examples which spring to mind.

Agreed The slummocks in dressing gowns and the Kitchen Kommandants never win.

He's an annoying wannabe fooker. He was on Deal Or No Deal and he still is.

He was an attention-hogging git on that!

After watching Perez Hilton's tantrums in CBB what a breath of fresh air having Jack in the house. I adore him and he seems to get along with everyone.
That dressing gown suits him too

LOL ..................I've not heard that word in years (slummock) - fantastic - I'm going to make a point of using it whenever I can.

It's about time slummock made a comeback

Or it could just be that he's asexual.

I happen to also be ace so I understand when the desire just isn't there.

Also dropped a catchphrase "what a time to be alive" at least twice on the opening night.

I'm not buying what he's selling.

You know, that usually doesn't get to me too much unless they look horrible, but didn't Marcus say in the voice over shit that Jack couldn't live without his dressing gown and slippers? Could Jack be an OAP?

I do actually feel bad about it as I can see he's quite a friendly person and isn't the type to cause upset, but he's just a bit too ... something. Yeah, I'm an asshole.

It would seem more logical to just say "I'm not really looking" or "I don't have a GF"... Saying you're not interested in "that sorta thing" raises eyebrows leaving others thinking all sorts just like we're doing here. Personally though, it's good that there's one less person in there chasing tail. I really loath that sorta chat. Has there ever been anything more embarrassing than whatshisface saying the twins were "vulnerable"?.... UGH...

He's still on DOND? While he's on BB, too? What a multi-tasker!

Was Wolfie a 'dressing gown' housemate too?
If so then there is even more evidence that the pattern fits.

Obviously the guy has never even had a sniff of a girlfriend so he covers it up by pretending not to be interested. I find that a bit sad.
