He seems pretty indifferent.

Why would you find it sad if a person didn't want to date? I don't want to either.
What I find sad is people who think everyone should be the same. I find bed-hopping sad.

How do we know he doesn't want a girlfriend? It's more likely he pretends he doesn't because he is unsuccessful with women. He may be asexual but it's more likely it's a front he puts up. Nobody is saying he should be bed hopping or sleeping around.

It could be but people do assume Asexuals just say it because they can't get anyone.

I have had people say the same about me when it's not really the case OK I admit girls don't fall all over me but I have and do get offers from girls and gay guys who would be thought of as attractive.

It's the same story with me. I'm relatively pretty and have often received a fair bit of attention when I go out.

So the stereotype of us aces being mingers is definitely an outdated one.
